This is an awesome truck! I bought this vehicle 2 years ago and have fully restored it. I put brand new floor panels in, new carburetor, new 33 inch BFG tires, brand new seats, a center console stereo system (Alpine deck with two Kicker speakers), new battery, and a custom paint job. I have a brand new soft top, brand new bikini top, as well as a fully restored hardtop. For doors, I have a set of hard and soft doors. There are a few minor wears in the paint since I drove it through two winters in New England, but they are very minor. The rust is minimal as well (no rot in the floors at all). This is a 4.2 L 258 CID 6 engine with 64,000 ORIGINAL MILES. The engine is in great condition. It starts up nicely and drives even nicer! Jurassic Park made a big impact on these Jeep drivers

Not only did it play into practically every little boy's love of dinosaurs, the movie included some great action scenes and special effects that still hold up today. In its latest video, The Aficionauto takes a look the Jurassic Park Motor Pool, a California car club with over 40 fans who created replica vehicles from the iconic film.
The club is made up of an interesting cross-section of people. Many of them were Jeep Wrangler fans that already loved off-roading and Jurassic Park, and liked the idea of bringing them together. Like any close-knit club, it ends up being about community and people coming together to share their interests. It's quite a heartwarming video. Jeep hiring 1,000 part-time workers in Toledo on Wrangler, Cherokee demand
Wed, 12 Mar 2014The new Jeep Cherokee has been quite a success for Chrysler, but its factory workers are getting tired. The automaker has agreed to hire up to 1,000 part-time, temporary employees at its Toledo Assembly Complex where the CUV and Wrangler are built. It will allow the company to keep Jeep production moving, while giving laborers a break.
According to plant manager Chuck Padden in the Toledo Blade, full-time workers are regularly taking on 60 hours a week, and it's beginning to wear on them. "To get them more time off is important to us, to make sure they're refreshed, and can work safely," said Padden.
Chrysler has already hired 380 temporary, part-time workers for the plant, and 50 have been converted to full-time employees. The company is in the process of interviewing the rest of the new hires now and plans to have all 1,000 in place by the summer. They will work between 10 and 30 hours a week mostly on weekends for $15.78 per hour with limited benefits. The temporary positions will last "as long as demand continues for the Jeep Wrangler and the Jeep Cherokee," said Jodi Tinson, Chrysler spokesperson for manufacturing and labor communications, to Autoblog in an email.
