This CJ 7 is as clean as it gets. It spent most of its life in New Mexico and California. There is no rust at all. It is a true CJ7 Laredo that looks and runs great. Motor is totally original with an automatic transmission. The jeep was repainted to its original color and trim. It had faded paint and some minor scratches that's it. All weather strip around the doors and windows were also replaced. The interior was redone to original with the Laredo seats and carpet. It has been garage kept while here in New Jersey and never been off roaded. It has a 3 inch suspension lift and a wrangler hard top for better visibility. I replaced the radio with an up to date clone jeep radio so it looks factory. There are no tears in the interior. There is only one small crack in the dash which you can hardly see. It has a totally clean vehicle history report with no accidents, flood, or damage of any kind. You must see this jeep to fully appreciate how clean it is. It has no mechanic problems and starts up and runs every time. The undercarriage has not been touched and it still has the original exhaust. This jeep has a 2-73 Gear Ratio which must have been ordered when the jeep was new. Someone asked me to mention this so I did. I guess that's why its so good on gas and more of a road vehicle then off road.

Jeep Cherokee faces on-sale delay
Sat, 23 Mar 2013A report in The Wall Street Journal looks at some of the obstacles to the 2014 Jeep Cherokee that go beyond its mootable yet "very contemporary" looks, almost all of them based on Fiat's financial position. Starting with that sheetmetal, in defense of it SRT president Ralph Gilles and Jeep design head Mark Allen said they wanted to "make sure the design still looks modern five years from now."
The WSJ piece doesn't cite longevity as a factor, instead saying that its features originated in a design for an Alfa Romeo, the transformation into a Jeep design meant allowing Chrysler get it to market more quickly and save "hundreds of millions of dollars" in engineering.
The need for Fiat to save money while it weathers the European situation has cut budgets for development, engineering and the pace of retooling the Toledo, Ohio plant to build the Cherokee. In a familiar case of snowballing at work, among the effects will be pushing back the Cherokee's volume sales date and delaying updates to some of Chrysler's other products.
Jeep Wrangler Polar is a tasty frozen treat
Wed, 11 Sep 2013Perhaps it's because we've seen so many kitted-out examples over the years, but it seems to us that the Jeep Wrangler tends to wear its special-edition duds better than most models. It might be the icon's familiar rectilinear proportions or the inherent bolt-on look of its extremities - bumpers, mirrors, lighting, and step rails - but we've seen precious few factory specials that look anything but excellent.
Case in point: this new Jeep Wrangler Polar unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show. This European-market limited-edition model is said to be a celebration of winter driving, which evidently works out to a body-color hardtop, black-accent seven-slot grille, 18-inch gloss black wheels, Trac-Lok limited-slip differential and a hard hat for the spare tire. Finished here in Hydro Blue (Billet Silver Metallic and Bright White are also available) and a black interior with Polar White accents, the Polar edition features badges displaying 78° S and 106° E longitude and latitude coordinates for Vostok, Antarctica.
This new Jeep will be available in both standard and Unlimited formats with either the 3.6-liter Pentastar gas engine or the still-not-for-US 2.8-liter turbodiesel when it bows early next year. For further details, check out our gallery above and the press release below.
