You are about to bid on one of the most well kept 13 year old vehicles you have ever seen!  Clean carfax, NO accidents, the report shows four owners, but it has only had two!  The original owner took delivery of the vehicle, brand new from Bermont Motors Jeep dealer in Gilbertsville, PA on a three year lease.  At the end of the term, he purchased the vehicle (shows as owner 2 on carfax), he drove it for several more years before gifting it to his Daughter and her husband (owner 3 on carfax) and then I purchased the vehicle from her (owner 4 on carfax).  The lady told me her father continued to service and maintain the vehicle for her throughout her ownership.  I have extensive service records on this vehicle along with every receipt, even for items as small as wiper blades.

The original owner had a tow hitch professionally installed to tow a small 5x8 trailer, no heavy towing at any point throughout the jeep's life.

The body has NO rust, the rocker panels are solid and are in the original state, NEVER repaired.  (See pictures)

The engine is strong, has NO noises whatsoever and doesn't consume or leak oil.

The transmission shifts smoothly, and at the proper RPM's.

The Four wheel drive system is in excellent condition and engages as it should.

Everything in the vehicle works as it should including the power locks and windows.  The passenger front window still works well but is slightly slower to raise than the other three.

Current PA state inspection, tires have well over half their tread left, brakes are strong too.

Although I never use A/C, I did turn it on to see if it works and the compressor kicked right on, the air was cool but could probably use a charge.

The interior is exceptionally clean with no heavy stains or smells.  NON-smoker, carpets have no wear, headliner is in great condition, and the Jack and tools appear to never have been used.  The steering wheel is in great shape showing minimal wear.  The cloth seats have no rips/tears or stains, they are in great shape.

The jeep comes with two keys, two remotes, original owner's manual, Factory window sticker!, Two new front OEM Jeep rubber slush mats, and all four original carpeted mats.

Overall, the body shows minimal wear, some scratches on the rear bumper, a few minor door dings on the driver side, and a few small scratches here and there but nothing terrible by any means.

I replaced the shocks that hold the tailgate up, the air filter and oil were also recently changed along with the spark plugs.

Throughout its life, it has been owned by two families, consistently maintained at the jeep dealer and by an independent mechanic shop.  It drives strong and is very stable at 80mph on the highway, no shakes or wobbles whatsoever.  Owned in the suburbs, NEVER a city vehicle and NEVER off road, NEVER abused.  This is a clean example of a well cared for vehicle in its original condition.  The CD player/radio is original from Jeep, NOT a goofy aftermarket unit like in many other jeeps for sale.

Although I have tried to describe everything accurately, I am happy to answer any questions you may have!  Oh, one more thing, all four tires are Goodyear wranglers, however the right rear alloy wheel is a slightly different style than the other three.  I didn't notice until after I bought it, it is barely noticeable.  All four alloy wheels are OEM original jeep wheels, one is a mismatched style.  This is a cheap and easy fix, you can buy a matching fourth alloy wheel off ebay for around $50.

This vehilce is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time if the vehicle sells.

I am a private seller, I don't offer any type of warranty, this vehicle is being sold AS-IS with NO warranties expressed nor implied.

Jeep team takes a field trip to Wagonmaster; researching next Grand Wagoneer?

Fri, 01 Feb 2013

They have the very best intentions of rolling out a seven-passenger vehicle.
Wagonmaster has made a name for itself restoring and selling factory-perfect Jeep Grand Wagoneer models, bridging the gap between when the last production machine rolled off the line in 1991 and present day. The company's efforts haven't gone unnoticed. The entire Jeep product planning team took a little field trip to the company's facility in Kerrville, Texas back in December, and they weren't just there to take in the sights. According to owner Leon Miller's son, Chip Miller, the Jeep team was there to do research for the successor to the Grand Wagoneer throne.

Jeep gunning to build 250,000 Cherokees a year

Thu, 21 Mar 2013

Contrary to what a certain politician may have said last year about Jeep moving to China, the automaker is in fact doing the opposite, with plans to greatly increase the production capacity at its Toledo North Assembly plant in Ohio. The Detroit Free Press is reporting that there are big plans for the 2014 Jeep Cherokee and Toledo North, as a local union president has informed the newspaper that Chrysler is planning to produce around 250,000 examples of the new midsize utility per year.
To put this number into context, 250,000 units is more than what Jeep Liberty sales totaled here over the last three years combined. Even taking into consideration that the 250,000 units will be distributed beyond US borders, that's an ambitious volume figure full-stop - and that's without taking into consideration the new Cherokee's love/hate design. In its favor, though, Jeep is making remarkable inroads globally as of late, and the Cherokee's size could work well in emerging markets. To get that kind of output from Toledo's Cherokee assembly line, Chrysler will reportedly hire 1,105 new workers - that's in addition to the 200 workers already being hired to build the popular Jeep Wrangler, which is itself expected to top 220,000 units this year.

2014 Jeep Cherokee: June 2014

Wed, 09 Jul 2014

I got a text message from Editor-In-Chief Sharon Carty one afternoon proclaiming that her new favorite SUV is our long-term 2014 Jeep Cherokee. And she's not alone. I'm not sure if anyone else on staff would go so far as to use the "favorite" descriptor, but after just over a month of honeymooning with our new long-termer, it's safe to say that the Jeep is quickly finding its way into the good graces of a number of Autoblog staffers.
There's good reason for all that praise, too. Thus far, the Jeep has proven itself to be incredibly competent and comfortable for daily life - it's functional, quiet, and packed with a host of amenities that make it easy to live with. It's been wholly trouble-free (with less than 4,000 miles on the clock as of this writing, it ought to be), but even nitpicks have been few and far between.
