I purchased this Jeep after the dealership I work at took it in on trade a few months back. I couldn't resist it with the low miles and the 5 speed transmission. I picked it up for the winter and it was great! As you can see from the autocheck it was a one owner Jeep. It has really low miles that are going up slightly as I still drive it a little. It was safety checked prior to me being able to purchase it and it passed. It runs and shifts great. The check engine light has intermittenly come on a couple times, but no drop in performance. The clutch grabs and feels good. The tires have only a few thousand miles on them, you can still see the colored lines in the tread. The 4x4 works great and I had no issues with it in the snow this year. The body doesn't reveal any prior paint work or damage that I can see. It is black paint from 2001 and in the sun you can see swirling and some blemishes, but overall is in good condition. There are a couple dings in the passenger side back door. The black plastic bumper corners have some "blueing" and the plastic running down the sides is faded. I included pictures of the bottoms of the doors. There is some rust starting but nothing too bad. The rims also have some rust on the insides probably from the way water sits in them when it is parked. There is one broken center cap that I have but the clips are broken and I don't think it can be repaired. The interior is clean and doesn't show too much wear. The rear hatch shocks are a little weak. They will hold it open but close easily. The driver side front speaker is out on the factory system. All lights, switches, power items work as they should including the factory fog lights. This Jeep really is just an honest good running SUV that will go from many more miles. If you're a local purchaser it is still registered and insured and I can show it to you. If you are shipping it I will do what I can to assist in getting it picked up. I don't have any experience in shipping cars and that would be up to you to arrange. I would like a $500 deposit within 48 hours of ending and the balance paid within 5 days. Thank you for looking and good luck bidding!

Jeep sets all-time sales record in 2012
Wed, 09 Jan 2013Last year was good to Jeep. Chrysler has announced its trail-rated brand set an all-time global sales record in 2012 by moving 701,626 units. That number easily surpasses the previous record set in 1999 when Jeep sold 675,494 models. All told, the brand saw a 19-percent sales increase worldwide over 2011, and much of that swell can be traced directly to the Wrangler. While the Grand Cherokee led Jeep sales, the Wrangler posted record numbers both globally and within the US, moving 194,142 and 141,669 units in each market, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Compass beat its previous global sales record with 103,321 units rolling off of dealer lots. In the US, Jeep sold 62,010 Patriot units, breaking that model's previous record as well. Jeep's impressive performance in 2012 marks the second year in a row the brand has seen double-digit percentage sales increases. Check out the full press release below.
GMC boss wants a Jeep Wrangler rival
Wed, 12 Nov 2014Challengers come and challengers go, but the Jeep Wrangler continues to push forward even after vehicles like the Toyota FJ Cruiser and the entire Hummer brand have been shut down. Now GMC reportedly wants to take a stab at the quintessential Jeep, as well.
The news comes directly from Buick-GMC vice president Duncan Aldred, speaking with our compatriots over at Edmunds. Although Aldred said there are no plans currently on the table to expand GMC's lineup beyond the current range, "there is plenty of room everywhere in the hierarchy."
That could include a rival to the Wrangler, as well as a flagship luxury SUV positioned above the current Yukon Denali (pictured above). Just when (or for that matter, if) such models might come into fruition remains a big question mark, but it's certainly interesting to see what GM's dedicated truck brand has on the drawing board.
Fiat-based baby Jeep spotted testing in US and Europe
Thu, 03 Oct 2013Details remain scarce, but our spy photographers have managed to capture the upcoming Jeep B-segment crossover for the first time, testing in both the Alps and in the US. Shown here as a cobbled-together Fiat 500L mule, the new Jeep model is expected to arrive for the 2015 model year and act as a replacement for the current Compass and Patriot models.
According to our shooter, the new "baby Jeep" will share a platform with the Fiat 500X, and both models will be built on the same assembly line in Turin, Italy. We can't tell much from these images, but the added length apparent on this 500L mule would seem to dispel the recent speculation that the new entry-level Jeep model would be sized closer to the Ford Fiesta - since the 500L is already considerably larger than the Fiesta. Powertrain options will likely mirror other Fiat/Chrysler collaborative vehicles like the Dodge Dart, but this Jeep will also try to live up to its off-road roots with an optional all-wheel-drive system.
