I cannot afford the payments anymore so I have to sell. I am not trying to get my money back, I understand I am going to lose thousands. I am going to the dealer on Thursday this week to either sell or trade so I thought I would post it up on a 5 day auction. I purchased this in October. I ordered it and took delivery myself. Told the dealer not to prep it as I didn't trust anyone not to scratch it. I even made a video of the unwrapping (below). I added Borla axle back mufflers that sound sonic! and I added the CAI which is included and makes a nice throttle sound, also tint and Mud and Cargo mats all around. Even though I have a mud mat in front I put a towel down not to get it dirty. I also sit on a baby car seat protector not to get the drivers seat dirty or wear the leather or sued. The truck has 3000+ miles and I do drive it 45 miles a day 3 days a week to work, all highway. The truck does have a loan on it. How this will work is the buyer takes truck and either the buyer makes out the payoff to Chase or actually comes to Chase with me to payoff. Then a week later you get the payoff letter from Chase. I have sold cars like this in the past so it is no problem. Also I am a Professional Firefighter/Lieutenant here in NY and I am not about to lose my job or steal from anyone so there is no worries. I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime based that I am going to the dealer on Thursday unless the LOW LOW reserve which is under $55,000 is met.

Chrysler investigating complaints of vehicles with faulty power modules

Sun, 24 Aug 2014

Chrysler owners are hopping mad after experiencing a series of electrical gremlins in some of the company's vehicles. Issues range from mere annoyances - windows rolling down and radios turning off of their own accord - to serious safety issues, with headlights that randomly shut off at night and cars that stall and refuse to start.
The issues are being blamed on the total integrated power module, which can cost up to $1,000 for customers to replace. This, of course, has led to a hefty batch of complaints to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, with 240 owners expressing their displeasure so far. Another site, CarComplaints.com, has registered over 300 complaints relating to the 2010 to 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango, alone, according to The New York Times.
Chrysler has acknowledged that it's investigating the complaints and is analyzing the faulty TIPMs, but that isn't quite enough for customers of the affected vehicles. The newspaper has snagged a few of the more harrowing tales with the electrically challenged Chrysler products, culled from the NHTSA complaints.

Key-swapping thieves steal Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT from FL dealer

Sat, 09 Nov 2013

Just a few weeks back, we reported on the theft of an Audi RS5 by a pair of creative thieves who managed to swipe the car's keys when the salesperson stepped away from their desk. Now, a Florida dealership is missing a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 after some crooks switched the Jeep's keys with an identical, non-functioning set.
According to the report from local NBC affiliate WPTV, the men went in and spoke to a dealer about the Jeep. They walked outside, took a look at it, started it up and in the process managed to switch out the fobs. After doing their time with the salesperson, the thieves walked back out to the car, got in and drove away.
"I mean obviously, the way it was done, I think that they were professionals and they knew what they were doing," said Arrigo Jeep General Manager Joe Tufo. "The fact that they did it in broad daylight and switched the key fob and it was like it was nothing. That's what makes it unique," he added.

Jeep follows up Super Bowl spot with call to help the USO

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

Once again, Chrysler had one of the most talked about Super Bowl commercials with its two-minute Whole Again Jeep spot, which was used to highlight its Operation SAFE Return program for US military personnel returning home from active duty. As part of this campaign, Jeep announced today that it will be donating up to $300,000 to the United Services Organizations (USO), and you can help.
Simply tweet using the #joinOSR hashtag on Twitter, visit the Yahoo! homepage or go to the Jeep Operation SAFE Return website, and Jeep will donate $1 to a fund that provides returning troops things like employment assistance and incentives to buy new vehicles. Jeep is also donating to this charity to the tune of $250 for each Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited (including the Freedom Edition model) and Jeep Patriot Freedom Edition model sold.
