You are looking at a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo V6 4X4 that is Hunter Green and runs great. This is an awesome vehicle..It was used for long commutes and mostly road miles and was very well maintained...This Jeep has 147,259 miles on it. Yes, it may seem like a lot but it's not at all. It is tight on the road, pleasant to drive, and is reliable. If you took this SUV for a ride and I covered up the odometer, and I told you it had 61,000 miles on it...YOU WOULD BELIEVE ME.. If you are looking for a good looking SUV that has a lot of life left in it..you found it. The exterior of this Jeep is a lovely hunter green.... It's in excellent condition and shines real nice. There are a couple of nicks that can be touched up...., but overall puts up a great appearance. This 4X4 has good looking wheels and radial tires..It has a cargo racks on top...There is no rust on or under the vehicle. The interior is gray and very clean... Non smoker. The upholstery is in very good shape. No tears, rips, or holes in front and back seats. Very comfortable for driver and passengers. All of the options work- the power windows, mirrors and locks and the a/c blows cold...This jeep also has a digital gas gauge and trailer hitch. The 4.0 V6 motor starts right up, sounds great, has plenty of power and the transmission shifts smoothly...The 4 wheel drive works fine also. These Jeeps can go well over 200k miles. It has plenty of life left. This Grand Cherokee is easy and pleasant to drive. Well maintained and cared for. It almost looks new. You'd never know it was a '97. Any questions please ask. Fiat Chrysler target 850k sales in China by 2018
Sun, 11 May 2014Behind the vanguard of numerous Jeep models, two Chryslers, a smattering of Fiats and Alfa Romeos and local production through a joint venture with Guangzhou Automotive Group (GAG), Fiat Chrysler wants to increase sales in China more than six-fold by 2018. The group sold 130,000 cars in China in 2013, the aim for 2018 being 850,000 cars.
Ultimately it's expected that the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Cherokee, Wrangler, Renegade, the coming Grand Wagoneer and a sub-Renegade-sized crossover will either be built in or exported to the People's Republic. The Chrysler Town & Country and 300 will join the export list in 2016 and 2018 respectively, according to a report in Automotive News.
With a number of those vehicles not in production or perhaps even envisaged yet, and others not due on the local market until 2018, it will be interesting to see how Fiat Chrysler plans to achieve the target in the specified timeframe. The joint venture with GAG builds two products now, the Dodge Dart-based Fiat Viaggio launched two years ago - supposedly designed just for China - and the just-launched Fiat Ottimo, a hatchback version of the Viaggio. Fiat projected 300,000 Viagio sales in its first two years, that number has been adjusted downward to 94,000 and there doesn't appear to be an analyst alive that sees a good future for Fiat in China's overrun mainstream market. Still, last year's 130,000 group sales in China is a huge jump from 2012 sales of 66,000 units, but less than half the 300,000 units it projected.

Okay, enough of that. Meet the Renegade - Jeep's cute little compact crossover that makes its official debut here at the Geneva Motor Show. We recently brought you a massive Deep Dive into what makes the Renegade tick, and we're now getting our first live look at the tiny Jeep, live from its coming out party in Switzerland.
With the exception of associate editor Jonathon Ramsey, who doesn't know what he's talking about, we at Autoblog are kind of smitten with the little Jeep - it's a really unique package, featuring details that really make it kind of special (notice that jerry can pattern in the taillights, for example). Jeep will offer the Renegade with either a 1.4-liter turbo-four (from the Fiat 500L) or a 2.4-liter naturally aspirated four (from the Dodge Dart), with either a six-speed manual transmission or a nine-speed automatic. There will even be a Trailhawk version with four-wheel drive - properly trail-rated, to boot. The Renegade also features a nifty new My Sky removable roof panel system, giving this little cutie sort of a baby Wrangler feel.
Radical 2016 Jeep Wrangler suggested by job listings?
Fri, 31 May 2013With most inside the industry expecting the next-generation Jeep Wrangler to arrive for the 2016 model year, it makes sense that the automaker would be looking for some choice candidates to to fill program openings as the off-roader goes through its development. A recent ad on Chryslercareers.com suggests to some that the lightweight Wrangler Stitch Concept, revealed just two months ago and shown above, provides some clues about the off-road icon's next iteration.
According to Automotive News, the job descriptions - which don't name the model specifically - hint that the next-generation Wrangler will benefit from a serious diet. The ads appear to seek those familiar with advanced high-strength steels, hinting that lightweight aluminum body panels may appear on the 4x4. In addition, there are suggestions that Jeep may fit the Wrangler replacement with air suspension, as seen on the Ram and Grand Cherokee, to retain ample off-road clearance yet lower that chassis to improve aerodynamics at highway speeds. The job postings reportedly also lend credence to the idea of a diesel Wrangler.
It seems every bit of the next-generation Wrangler is up for review, as it will be the first time this iconic model is redesigned under Fiat ownership. Questions remain whether or not the Jeep will retain its clip-down hood, easy-to-remove door pins and folding front windshield - loyalists expect them, but fuel economy and safety standards may crimp their cases for survival.
