For auction is a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. It has 20X9 (front) and 20X10 (rear) chrome SRT-8 replica wheels, a B&B 3" exhaust system with center rear exit, front and rear SRT-8 fascia, Eibach lowering springs. Moon roof, video entertainment system, heated front seats, 6 disc CD changer, Leather seats, traction control, 5.7 HEMI, 330HP, all wheel drive. Brakes, struts, shocks are 1 year old. Everything works well. It is very quick and nimble.The Jeep is and has always been smoke free. There are a few chips on the hood and in front of the rear tires. There is a small ding on the driver side door by the handle and the driver side rear wheel is pitted but cleans up well. With all that being said the vehicle is in very good shape. Rear tires have 50% tread and fronts have 35%. Paint is very reflective. Vehicle was just serviced. I drive this vehicle to and from work daily (40 miles each day). Jeep shows off Moab Easter Safari concepts crawling the red rocks
Thu, 28 Mar 2013While most brands are busy showing off in New York, Jeep headed out to Moab for the Easter Jeep Safari with the company's fleet of 2013 concepts. This year saw the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk II, Wrangler Mopar Recon, Wrangler Stitch, Wrangler Sand Trooper II, Wrangler Flattop and Wrangler Slim Concepts tackle the rocks and sand, and Jeep was kind enough to bring along a camera crew to film the machines rolling over a few obstacles. The result is the video below, though don't expect to see too much hardcore off road action.
Instead, the quick clip features more than a few interviews with Jeep executives, including Jeep Head of Product Design Mark Allen, explaining what makes the Easter Jeep Safari so important. WWII Jeep 'found in crate' set to cross Greenwich auction block
Thu, 30 May 2013Fans of old military vehicles might want to pay extra close attention to the Greenwich Concours d'Elegance coming up this weekend. Crossing the Bonhams auction block on Sunday are a pair of seemingly flawless World War II Jeeps, which are both expected to fetch serious dollars.
Lot Number 305 at the auction is a 1945 Ford GPW Jeep that has been fully restored, which is expected to command between $35,000 and $45,000. Shortly after the Ford GPW, a potentially more interesting 1944 Willys MB (shown above) will be auctioned off, but Hemmings raises some red flags about this Jeep. First, it is claiming to have been "discovered in its original crate about 30 years ago," but there is no proof or documentation of any sort. Also, it is claiming to be all original, but it was given a paint job "shortly after it was discovered."
