2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 3.7 V6 53k miles.

I have a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.7 V6 up for sale. 53,*** miles, always serviced every 3000 miles. It has a 2 inch lift, Bilstein shocks with 32 inch BF Goodrich all terrain tires on powder coated rubicon wheels(spare tire as well). Tires have about 80% tread on them if not more. Has black and grey leather interior, heated seats, tow package and sun roof( X package), Boston Acoustic Speakers, tinted windows, window rain guards, wired for an amp and subwoofer. I am the second owner. I Still drive the car but usually sits in my driveway(I have an issued car from work). 18,000 to 50,000 miles are all highway miles to commute to work until I was issued a car from work.  I just put on new rotors and pads, spark plugs, wires and air filter. New battery was put in this past September. Bought it at 18,000 miles. Never went off roading with it, never had the time. Jeep is in near mint condition inside and out. Never had any problems.  Had the ignition switch changed under warranty.  I believe it was a recall that I never knew about.  All button, lights, switches, windows work as they should.  Also has an optional transferable extended warranty till Dec 25 2014.   I think its $200 for the transfer fee from the warranty company. Asking 17500 or best reasonable offer. Make me an offer, worst thing I can say is no...please no low ballers.  I do not need to sell, just looking to get something else.  No trades.. If you don't have the cash ready, please do not call, don't waste my time or yours. I have a busy work schedule and not much free time. If you are a serious buyer, give me a call or email if you have any questions. You can email me or txt at Two 0 one-seven eight 8 five three three 9. I also have a yakima roof rack for it with a tire carrier and lock. Not on the jeep but we can negotiate that as well depending on price.  I reserve the right to end the posting early as I have the Jeep for sale locally.  Buyer is responsible for shipping. Sold as is.  Thanks for looking.

Auto critic calls out Corvette, Mustang and Cherokee faithful

Mon, 26 Aug 2013

Most automotive purists fear change, but not without reason. Change, after all, did kill big-block V8s, along with most station wagons and manual transmissions. But change has also brought with it far more performance, safety and fuel economy - not to mention ridding the world of shag carpet interiors, bias-ply tires and those horrible motorized seatbelts of the early '90s.
By this time next year, the Chevy Corvette, Jeep Cherokee and next-generation Ford Mustang will all be on sale and will all, in some way, have angered or offended purists. To those critics, Mark Phelan of the Detroit Free Press is preemptively telling them to stop complaining - at least until they've all been driven. From the Corvette's square taillights and the Cherokee's radical nose to whatever pony car purists will harp on the 2015 Mustang for, Phelan's column points out the positives of automotive evolution and the negatives of staying the course for too long. That's fair enough, but do you think Phelan is on point, or all wet? Head on over to the Detroit Free Press to read his words, then have your say in Comments.

Chrysler delays 2014 Jeep Cherokee media launch

Tue, 30 Jul 2013

Chrysler is making the unusual move of delaying the first media drives of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, which were slated to start next week in Seattle. And while something like this is a rare occurrence, and one that most of the Autoblog staff can't recall happening this publicly or so close to the event itself, it won't effect the actual on-sale date of the new Cherokee, which is set to hit showrooms in September.
"Over the last couple of weeks during final quality and durability testing, we have discovered the opportunity to further improve powertrain calibration," Chrysler told Automotive News. This marks the second notable delay in the Cherokee's short life, after production was delayed for roughly a month earlier this summer.
Still, we'd rather Chrysler make sure the Cherokee is ready for primetime before flying media in from around the country. It shows a willingness to get things right the first time, rather than offering media drives and then tweaking the car after the fact.

Jeep Wrangler Mojo and Cherokee Dakar teased ahead of Moab Easter Safari

Wed, 02 Apr 2014

Jeep has an annual tradition of debuting wild, new concepts during its Easter Jeep Safari, and this year looks to be no different. The automaker has already confirmed two of the six vehicles for 2014 - the Cherokee Dakar (pictured above) and Wrangler Mojo. This year's event runs in Moab, Utah, from April 12-20.
There are no official details about either of the concepts yet - Jeep will release more info on the new models next week. Judging by the pictures, though, the Cherokee Dakar appears to be lifted with some knobby off-road tires. The Wrangler Mojo looks to have a bulging hood that might hide a more powerful engine underneath.
Past vehicles at the Easter Jeep Safari have included a Hemi V8-powered Wrangler, a classically inspired pickup and modernized Jeep Forward Control. Since this is the brand's chance to express itself every year, hopefully it has some more sensational concepts up its sleeve. Scroll down to read the little information that has been revealed about this year's models so far.
