Here is a SUPER CLEAN 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sport 4x4

You will not find a cleaner 2001 Wrangler, this is a one owner, garage kept Jeep that is owned by a veteran dealer trained auto technician so it has been very well kept and maintained.

This Jeep needs nothing.

It has a current Pa. State Inspection good till 5/13, If it is a Pa. buyer i will get a new Pa. Inspection done before pickup.

Has never had any paint work at all other than a couple paint chips brush touched and one scratch above the left rear tire which i have pictured.

The interior is acceptionally clean as well with very minor signs of wear which is on the side of the drivers seat which i have also pictured. It has had Husky Floor Liners in it since new so the carpet is exceptionally clean.

The underside of this Jeep is very clean also, it has never been off-road.

The top has never been off of this Jeep.

Has the 4.0 Liter 6-Cylinder Engine that runs smooth and strong with the Automatic Transmission that shifts great in all gears.

Has cold A/C, Tilt WheelAlpine AM/FM CD Stereo with the optional Sound Bar.

Has a small lift with Aluminum Alloy Wheels and 31x10.50R15 Tires that still have 75% of the tread life left.

Also has many small extra's that can be seen in the pictures.

This Jeep is being sold as-is with no warranty written, expressed or implied.

All shipping costs and arrangements are up to the buyer.

Vehicle is located in zip code 15717 and can be inspected before bidding.

I reserve the right to cancell all bids and end the auction early if needed.

On Mar-10-13 at 12:45:57 PDT, seller added the following information:

This Jeep made history at the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival in Butler, Pa. (Birthplace of the Jeep) and is in the Guinnus Book of World Records as the Longest Jeep Parade held August 12, 2011

There is a plaque on the passenger visor from this and all paperwork and pictures will come with the sale of the Jeep.

Jeep Liberty replacement takes shape

Wed, 16 Jan 2013

Now that the Liberty has left us for greener pastures, it's time to start looking into the future of the midsize Jeep model. The next all-new vehicle for the off-road brand will be the SUV you see here, effectively replacing the Liberty, and not necessarily carrying on with that name.
From the sides, the prototype you see here sort of looks like a miniature version of the handsome Grand Cherokee, albeit with a bit more in the way of body sculpting. Up front, the seven-slat grille will be front and center, with completely revised headlamp designs that are reportedly angular and sweep well into the front fenders (you can sort of see what we're talking about in the side profile). That doesn't sound very Jeep-like, but we'll reserve judgment until we, you know, see the thing.
The bigger question with the Liberty replacement will be whether or not its off-road chops will be up to snuff. After all, the two previous generations of Liberty models were body-on-frame traditional SUVs, whereas this new Jeep rides on a larger version of the Dodge Dart platform.

Watch this 650-hp Hennessey Jeep Grand Cherokee go from 0-60 in 3.9 seconds

Tue, 14 May 2013

Hennessey Performance Engineering has created an HPE650 package for the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT fitted with the 6.4-liter Hemi engine. When it leaves the showroom floor it has 470 horsepower and gets from 0-60 miles per hour in 4.8 seconds. When it leaves Hennessey's garage floor after the upgrade it has 650 horsepower - 530 hp at the wheels, according to Hennessey - and gets to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds on its way to running the quarter-mile in 12.6 seconds.
There's more than just a Roots-type supercharger bolt-on, with ported cylinder heads and high-flow headers among the many changes made to the engine. You can watch this pre-2014 facelift silver model prove its spec sheet on the drag strip in the video below.

Jeep Liberty under investigation for door fires

Tue, 29 Oct 2013

The Jeep Liberty has already had plenty of attention for possible fires thanks to the first-gen model's fuel tank, but now the midsize Jeep is under the microscope of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for another fire-related concern. NHTSA has opened an investigation for the 2012 Liberty after receiving two reports of electrical fires in the driver's door.
According to the investigation summary, around 80,000 vehicles could potentially be affected by this problem. In both reported fires, the drivers noticed smoke and then flames from the master power window switch, and they had to pull to a stop and exit through the passenger side of the SUV. According to Autoguide, there was one injury to a motorist who suffered burned fingers while trying to open the driver's door.
Interestingly, the Dodge Nitro is not yet involved in this investigation, even though it was still around for the 2012 model year; the Nitro ended production in 2011 about a year before the final Liberty rolled off the line for the 2013 model year. Scroll down for the official NHTSA investigation summary.
