ALWAYS KEPT IN THE GARAGE AND BABIED BY ME. THE BROWN SADDLE LEATHER SEATS ARE IN PERFECT CONDITION. SEATS HAVE BEEN COVERED WITH TREK ARMOR SEAT COVERS ($500 SEAT COVERS!!). TAIL GATE HAS A POWDER COATED JEEP LOGO IN PLACE OF THE SPARE. I DO HAVE THE FACTORY SPARE TIRE AND MOUNTING BRACKET. NITTO TERRA GRAPPLER 33 INCH TIRES WITH KMC 20 INCH WHEELS 17,000 MILES ON THEM. THESE ARE VERY GOOD TIRES, PROVIDE A SOFT RIDE AND NOT LOUD. 3.6 LITER V6 4X4. TOUGH LOOKING JEEP AND STILL CLASSY FOR DATE NIGHT WITH THE LADY. Chrysler accelerates Jeep recall repairs from 2018 to March

You may remember that Jeep's unusual fix for this recall involves fitting a trailer hitch.
The recall of about 1.5 million models of the 2002-2007 Jeep Liberty and 1993-1998 Grand Cherokee over fuel tanks may finish far sooner than originally estimated. In a new filing from Jeep's parent, Chrysler Group, with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the company says that it can complete the repairs for the affected vehicles by March 2015, much sooner than the previous estimate of sometime in 2018. Jeep predicts the total cost of the campaign will be around $151 million.
2014 Jeep Cherokee dreams of Moab, crawls on stage [w/video]
Wed, 27 Mar 2013The all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee inched its way onto the stage at the New York Auto Show today, proving that at least the "Trail Rated" version of the SUV is more than just a controversial unique odd fresh face in the mid-size segment. After the short, simulated Moab run by the Trailhawk model, the gray four-door was joined on the stage by a burgundy Limited model - the luxurious highway variant.
As a recap, the all-new 2014 Cherokee rides atop a modular Alfa Romeo-derived platform (we know it from the Dodge Dart) and will be offered in both front- and all-wheel drive models with a choice between a 2.4-liter four-cylinder (rated at 184 horsepower) and a new 3.2-liter Pentastar V6 (developing 271 horsepower) engine. A nine-speed automatic is standard and no less than three different all-wheel drive systems are available.
Of the four different models (Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk), we like the rugged looks and capabilities offered by the Trailhawk the best. Refreshed Chrysler 300 SRT won't be sold in NA
Mon, 20 Oct 2014It looks like it might be time to bid farewell to the V8 rumble from the Chrysler 300 SRT - at least if you live in North America. The reported change comes as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles reshuffles its ranks with the Dodge brand, re-absorbing SRT and building its muscular reputation with the Challenger and Charger Hellcat models. Meanwhile, Chrysler is taking a more mainstream approach, and that likely means the end of overt high-performance models from the division for now.
According to Automotive News, the 300 SRT will be discontinued in the US for 2015, but it won't be totally dead. Some right-hand drive markets will still get the brawny V8 sedan next year, a distinction that goes a long way toward explaining some spy shots we've seen recently.
The 300 SRT's North American demise probably shouldn't come as a total shock. In FCA's five-year plan, it says that the 300 is destined for a refresh to be unveiled later this year, presumably at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show. There's no mention of the SRT model in the document, though, which seems to signal its end.
