Up for sale is my custom lifted JK 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport with just under 21k miles. It features a removable hardtop roof, power windows/locks, Bluetooth satellite radio, 3.6L V6 engine, auto transmission, 4x4, Dana 44 rear axle, Dana 30 front axle, and lots of custom mods. This is one heck of a head-turner anywhere it goes! I bought the rig in 2014 from a New Jersey dealer with a salvage title due to a light front bumper damage. Im willing to provide original pictures to anyone interested in seeing how minor the damage was which required me to just change the front bumper and no other parts. Ive had oil changes done every 5k miles with Mobil1 5W-30 fully synthetic, with the last one just completed. Lift kit, axle re-gearing, rear axle locker, and most major modifications were installed and tuned by 4WheelParts shop. Alignment was done by Keiths Alignment, which is the most knowledgeable and experienced alignment shop for specialty vehicles in the area. Has never had any issues and runs like a champ. The new gears are able to match the factory performance and MPG figures. I never really took it off-roading, just on flat dirt trails a couple times. Looks excellent both inside and out, with the only blemishes I know of are a dent on passenger fender, and scuffs on left rear interior door panel. Ive built this rig as a hobby and plan on building more projects like this simply because I love doing this, even though I am not making any profit off of this, having put over $20k into custom parts and labor. 2015 Jeep Renegade leaks out ahead of Geneva debut

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

Meet the Renegade - Jeep's new baby crossover that's set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show this week. The folks at Jalopnik got their hands on a small batch of photos of the new little cutie, showing what appears to be a Trailhawk (read: trail-rated) version, as well as a more civilian-spec Renegade, complete with a new removable roof system, reportedly called My Sky.
Details are slim, though in addition to the exterior images, one photo of the interior has also been leaked, showing what appears to be a small, yet functional (and nicely appointed) cabin. Early reports suggested that the new small Jeep would be based on the Fiat 500L platform, though Jalopnik rightly points out that the Renegade looks an awful lot like the Panda 4x4. Regardless, there's still likely some 500L bones under there, and we'll know more once the official details are revealed in the very near future.
Head over to Jalopnik for more shots of the cute little Renegade, and stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

Jeep Wrangler gets the wide-track treatment

Mon, 07 Jan 2013

When we read the tip about a Gulf-state diplomat in Rabat, Morocco who had supposedly "merged two Jeep Wranglers," we figured the two off-roaders were somehow linked front-to-back. Oh no. As you can see in the image above, taken from video of that vehicle actually traveling down the road and needing more than one lane to do it, the two Jeeps were put together side-by-side.
The seriously widebody truck is said to have six wheels, one at each corner and two in the middle. That's about all anyone seems to know about it at the moment, and that's probably enough - in these situations you know better than to ask why, just watch the video below.

Jeep dealer buries WWII Willys GP in showroom floor

Tue, 04 Nov 2014

The Willys MB Jeep earned icon status during World War II thanks to its ruggedness, simplicity and go-anywhere ability. Following the war, it didn't take long for the handy vehicles to be scooped up by the public, and a brand slowly grew around the vehicles that has continued to thrive. Fast-forward to present day, where it's not uncommon for auto dealers to try to grab some of the magic of yesteryear by displaying classic models to connect customers with their brands' proud histories. Now, a Canadian Chrysler Group dealer is taking that notion to the extreme by actually making a vintage WWII Jeep part of its foundation.
Bay King Chrysler in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, recently completed its new showroom, and the franchise really wanted to show its dedication to the Jeep brand. As dealer principal Jamie Richter tells Autoblog, the inspiration for the Jeep installation came from his brother, who became fascinated with a home that had a glass floor looking down into its wine cellar. The company already had the 1943 Willys MB to display, but it had originally planned to build a jungle gym around it for customers' kids. Now, the classic is literally in the floor as customers enter. Richter tells Autoblog that customer reaction so far has been "fantastic."
It's certainly a novel way to bring people into the showroom, and seemingly a nice nod not only to Jeep, but to the men and women who served in the war. If you want to see more about how the Jeep was actually installed and what it looks like, check out this video.
