When I purchased this car I was told it was running. It hasn't been running for some time now, and it has seized. I don't have the time to pull the engine and repair it. The body kit alone was 5K, and the tires & wheels are in good condition...no curb rash or anything serious or noticeable, just not pristine. The body is very good, minor imperfections that will be addressed when painting.

It has a 4sp. manual & A/C. Interior needs to be replaced, and the lights need to be connected.{connections in place}. It needs windshield and side glass.
Doors & rear engine hatch need hinging. I will include 4 NEW linear actuators with the car. One for each door, and one for the hatch w/one spare. I also will include a NEW master and slave brake cylinder, because I'm sure it should be changed. Additional parts, also included.
I have waited a long time for this car, but time and the purchase of a home, prevent me from keeping it! It should really have a professional paint job too.
Please call or email questions. I will answer If I know, and tell you if I don't. I have 100% FB because I also have integrity!!!!

Shipping or pick up, is responsibility of buyer, but I will assist in any way I can, and will make the car available at buyers schedule.
I do have access to a CUSTOM rebuilt replacement & bored out engine and will pay the cost of the engine and the installation for a "running car" for an offer of $6500. You will need to contact me so I can change the price so your bid will reflect the "new" price and promised work.

Seinfeld and Chris Rock laugh it up in a Lamborghini Miura

Thu, 18 Jul 2013

Jerry Seinfeld has featured many beautiful cars and hilarious comedians in his Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee web series, but this latest episode might top them all. (To his credit, it feels like we've been saying that a lot lately). In this video, Seinfeld snags the keys to a 1969 Lamborghini Miura and picks up funnyman Chris Rock.
Not surprisingly, Seinfeld says the Miura is "the most beautiful car ever designed," and he shows how fast it can be, too. After stopping for lunch and a conversation with Rock, Seinfeld gets an unexpected chat with one of New Jersey's Finest. There are plenty of laughs, but the Lamborghini and its long eyelashes steal the light in this episode. Check it out below.

World's most expensive model car will be wrapped in thin gold sheet [w/video]

Thu, 19 Sep 2013

A couple of years ago, we featured a car that had a body made out of carbon fiber and an interior and wheels fashioned from gold and platinum and lined with diamonds. The price for that supercar, based on the Lamborghini Aventador, was a staggering $4.7 million. The hook: it was a 1/8-scale model! The man behind that model, Robert Gülpen, is at it again, and will offer for sale at an auction house another baby Aventador, but this one is wrapped in gold and will command a price of at least $7.5 million - making it the most-expensive model car in the world. Compare the model's price with that of the real thing - $397,500 - which means you could have 18 real Aventador coupes (!) for the price of the gold-wrapped model.
The car's details are even more impressive than the last model Gülpen produced, starting with the gold wrap. After baking the carbon-fiber model at a high temperature and under pressure, the body is wrapped in a gold sheet that's 1/1,000-mm thin. The resultant effect allows one to admire the gold hue, but the wrap is so thin that the carbon-fiber weave is plainly visible. The interior is lined with high-carat gemstones and the wheels are cast in gold and platinum, just like the last model. The doors open and close, the wheels turn and, while the engine looks like a smaller version of the V12 found in the full-size car, it does not function.
The materials used in the build are valued at $2.6 million, so what the buyer is paying for is the work behind putting the model together. The car will be mounted inside a bulletproof showcase with a Lamborghini logo made of gold, platinum and gemstones, among other goodies that are included for one well-heeled buyer.

Lamborghini Asterion leaked in print ahead of Paris debut

Mon, 29 Sep 2014

The first purportedly leaked images from an Italian magazine of Lamborghini's new vehicle for the Paris Motor Show are on the web, and they closely echo the model's silhouette from the teaser. However, there's no official mention of a name to confirm that this is being called the Asterion, as rumored.
The profile image (right) definitely suggests this is the same model that Lamborghini is previewing for Paris. It features the same slightly arcing hood and roof, and it has a rear air intake behind the door. The shape also seems to support the belief that this concept has a 2+2 seating arrangement to echo earlier Lambo models like Espada.
According to Autoblog.nl, which has posted the images, the vehicle may use a hybrid V10 with three electric motors to produce in the neighborhood of 900 horsepower. Furthermore, it claims that this might be just one of two concepts that Lamborghini is bringing to the Paris show. For now it's still a mystery, but all should be revealed on October 2 for the vehicle's unveiling.
