This running and driving series 109 is the perfect work and play truck. Not only will you be the envy of everyone in your neighborhood, but you will have people constantly asking you questions and wanting to know why your driving on the wrong side. This is a very interesting truck. Like I said, starts strong runs strong and brakes strong. Many new parts on brakes. Engine has been finely tuned and runs perfect. Shifts nice and sometimes 3rd grinds. Installed parabolic Springs with new shocks so the ride is very soft. Paint is in decent shape probably would need to be repainted in the near future. The rest of the body on the truck its straight with no significant body damage. Your usual scratches and dings. 5 new tires with less than 200 miles on them.. 235/85/16 AT. New ball joints all the way around for easy steering. New fuel tank. New style radiator and many other new parts. comes with many spare parts with clear an Open title in hand. External lock on the hood. All lights are function. Doors windows in good shape and slide back and fourth easy. Frame is in good shape with a few patches made before i purchased it. Recently purchased rear passenger seats for the back. .Interior still needs to be touched up a little. Unfortunately, we are downsizing and we need to sell this soon. Mazda CX-5 named Japan's Car of The Year, Subaru BR-Z wins "Special Award"
Mon, 03 Dec 2012The Mazda CX-5 stamped its Kodo design and SkyActiv technology authority all over the Japan Car of the Year awards, taking the top prize ahead of the Subaru BRZ/Toyota GT 86. It is Mazda's second victory in the last ten years, the 2005 MX-5 claiming the same trophy, and the fourth time the Hiroshima company has won.
The award is decided by 60 local "automotive experts and journalists," and open to any passenger car released in Japan from November 1, 2011 to October 31, 2012 that has sold more than 500 units. Each judge gets 25 votes, his or her top vote getting 10 points, the rest of the points being spread among the judge's choice for the next best four cars.
The second-place getters were the Toyobaru twins with 318 votes, the surprise being they didn't beat or get any closer to the crossover. The Subaru BRZ did claw some mojo back, earning the Special Award given to cars that have made "an exceptional impact." The BMW 3 Series was third overall and won the Import Car of the Year award with plenty of room between it and the second place Range Rover Evoque.

Coming off press previews of the 2013 Land Rover Range Rover and the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee that involved some heavy-duty off-road rock climbing, I'm simply amazed at the capabilities that these vehicles possess. But even more impressive (or troubling depending on your perspective) is the relative ease with which you can operate these vehicles in seemingly impossible terrain.
Jaguar Land Rover may build factory in Saudi Arabia
Tue, 11 Dec 2012The Middle East is one of the fastest-growing markets for Land Rover, so it makes sense that the automaker is looking to set up shop in the region. According to Automotive News, Jaguar Land Rover is in talks with the people of Saudi Arabia to build a factory in the country at an expected initial cost of $1.2 billion. Still in the early stage of talks, the proposed facility could start up by 2017 using locally sourced materials such as steel and aluminum.
Such an arrangement could be beneficial for both entities as Saudi Arabia looks to diversify its oil-reliant economy and Land Rover could get local production capacity of around 50,000 units. The report also says that the agreement talks about the possibility for Jaguar models to be built at the same plant further down the road.
This won't be the first vehicle produced in Saudi Arabia - that honor goes to the KSU Gazal-1 - but it will be the first from a major global automaker.
