1997 Land Rover Defender D90 Soft Top on 2040-cars
Richland Springs, Texas, United States

You are viewing a rare original low mileage 1997 Land Rover Defender 90 in what I consider mint condition. The
Defender 90 is no longer available in the USA and has recently been discontinued overseas making it a true
collector’s item. This rare D90 has tons of upgrades however it still maintains its classic style.
The vehicle runs perfectly making it hard to believe it’s almost 20 years old. The vehicle has always been
garaged. The car has always been serviced while I owned it at the Land Rover dealership and I can provide service
and upgrade paperwork upon request for serious buyers.
The body is in perfect condition with no dings or rust. The vehicle has been slightly lifted and features yellow
springs to match the body style. The larger tires give it an aggressive stance and have plenty of tread left on
them, the fifth spare tire matches the vehicles 4. The upgraded LED rear lighting package gives this classic a cool
modern look. The front brush guard and rear metal bumper with hitch receiver also add to the uniqueness of this
vehicle. The car comes with 3 tops, the full soft top with rear and back zipper windows, a full bikini top, and a
half bikini top. I don't want to forget to mention the chrome tip exhaust pipe and front side metal plate guard.
The interior is in original perfect condition and features an awesome classic Land Rover steering wheel. The AC
blows cold and if you are an audio enthusiast it features one of the best custom sounding stereo systems I have
ever heard.

Jaguar Land Rover opens winter testing facility in Minnesota
Wed, 12 Dec 2012As it begins the rollout of the all-wheel-drive Jaguar XJ and XF models, Jaguar Land Rover has just announced that it has opened a new facility in northern Minnesota for winter testing. Located in International Falls, MN (on the US and Canadian border), the British automaker says it is one of the coldest locations in the Continental US. Jaguar's new Instinctive All Wheel Drive system was developed primarily to help sell more cars in the northern US, so it only makes sense to open a testing area in the US as well.
With temperatures that can drop to minus 55 degrees Fahrenheit, International Falls was chosen to mimic some of the worst weather a Jaguar or Land Rover will ever see. The grounds house testing chambers, various road surfaces and even a frozen lake. This new facility complements the hot-weather testing grounds in Phoenix, AZ.
The official press release is posted below.
Jaguar Land Rover details JustDrive connectivity suite
Tue, 18 Nov 2014
JustDrive will allegedly deliver on the long-promised idea of natural communication between driver and car.
Jaguar Land Rover's all-new InControl system is set to get a big bump as the British company will add a new service called JustDrive, which expands on the smartphone-focused infotainment system by adding a singular voice controller for a wide array of the system's currently available apps.
Jaguar SUV mule doing Ring testing in Evoque clothes
Mon, 28 Apr 2014Jaguar has moved its Range Rover Evoque-bodied tests of the production C-X17 Concept from icy streets to the legendary Nürburgring, as work continues on the brand's first SUV.
Really, there's not a great deal of new stuff here. Based on the number plates, this is a different vehicle from the one we saw back in March, which we originally identified as the upcoming replacement for the Land Rover Freelander/LR2. The details, though, appear largely the same. The biggest distinction we can see between the March tests and this are the US-spec headlights, which add amber reflectors at their sides. Based on these shots, it does seem as if the C-X17 should be a fairly poised road vehicle, as the engineers hustle it around the 'Ring.
Of course, as soon our spies can capture images of a production-bodied C-X17, we'll be sure to pass those on to you. Until then, take a look up top for images of the Range Rover-bodied Jaguar as it tests at Germany's Nürburgring. You can also scroll down for our March images for the C-X17 mules testing on public roads.
