Good condition vehicle with newer tires, 85% tread all match and installed new about 15,000 mi. ago. Always serviced w/ mobil 1, look at photos closely, it is showing her age. Rover is like an old dog, always ready to go where you want but it will leave a few drips on the drive. Seals can drip after 14 years especially with synthetics. If you read the Rover forums you know about the "3 amigos" issues with the abs pump. This rover has been fixed. The poor factory harness connector has been rewired. The power steering pump and lines (all 3) have been replaced 2yrs ago. This is a full time 4 wheel drive machine with a lockable center diff in the transfercase. Landrover however does not provide the linkage to operate it. You can purchase a kit online ore make it yourself. This is not a mint condition rover this is a daily driver hauling kids, dogs and gear to wherever you want paved or muddy with the AC ice cold or the sunroofs (2) open so what if the kids bike or a tree branch scratched it yes the trailer can be towed kinda vehicle. Ask questions, I will answer. If your looking for two, see my other auction, it has the extra rear seats SE7 option.

Jaguar Land Rover calls in handful of vehicles over suspension bolts
Thu, 24 Apr 2014With most recalls seemingly affecting mass-market vehicles, it'd be all too easy to assume, consciously or otherwise, that higher-end automobiles never face such issues. But the main reason we don't see the NHTSA recalling more luxury automobiles isn't because of their quality, we'd postulate: it's because of their relative scarcity.
Take Jaguar Land Rover, recalls of whose vehicles we only seem to have cause to report about once a year. So if you're figuring they're about due, here you go. The Indian-owned British auto group has just announced two recalls, both regarding suspension components: one affecting Jaguars and another concerning - you guessed it - Land Rovers.
First up we have a recall for 2013 to 2014 model year Jaguar XJ, XF and XK models - a whopping 297 of them - which have been found to have problematic toe links. Separation of the toe link from the rear sub-frame could result in impaired stability and control over the vehicle's direction, so JLR is calling them in to replace the nuts and washers on the rear toe links.
European automakers gear up for Brazilian production
Mon, 07 Oct 2013Brazil is the place to be, apparently. Toyota has been investing in the South American country, as has BMW, which announced a $261 million investment in October 2012, on the heels of an Audi factory announcement in San José Chiapa. The high-end immigration is only set to continue, as Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar-Land Rover have both announced plans to set up manufacturing operations there.
Mercedes is the big news here, as its new facility will see the German manufacturer invest 170-million euros for production of its next-generation C-Class and upcoming GLA-Class. "Brazil is an important future market. With our local production we accept the challenge and take on the competition," noted Andreas Renschler, Management Board member for Production and Procurement at Mercedes-Benz Cars and Mercedes-Benz Vans. Production is expected to begin by 2016.
Jaguar-Land Rover, meanwhile, isn't so concrete in its plans. The news of its investment in South America comes from a job posting for a plant quality manager in Brazil that was picked up by the UK's AutoCar. "Portuguese language skills will be definite advantage" for interested candidates, according to the job listing. The want ad follows on the heels of remarks by Jaguar Land Rover's Dr. Ralph Speth, who said there are "very intensive discussions" with Brazil's government. Unlike Mercedes, there's no mention of which vehicles will be produced in South America, although AutoCar thinks the Freelander, sold in the US as the LR2, is a leading contender.
Going high-tech, the 4x4 way
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Is It An Off-Road Adventure Or Just A Walk In The Park?
I remember having to get out and lock hubs and shift into neutral to engage low range.
Coming off press previews of the 2013 Land Rover Range Rover and the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee that involved some heavy-duty off-road rock climbing, I'm simply amazed at the capabilities that these vehicles possess. But even more impressive (or troubling depending on your perspective) is the relative ease with which you can operate these vehicles in seemingly impossible terrain.
