I am selling my 2004 Disco. Great truck. 77,630 miles. Giverny green in color with blacked out Land Rover 16" rims. Alpaca beige leather interior. Power locks, windows, mirrors, cruise, hill assist, and dual climate control. Truck has a professionally installed 2" Old Man emu lift kit with steering stabilizers. Work done by 4wheel parts in Tucson, Arizona. Has 2 Hella 500s up front with toggle switch. Magnaflow exhaust and KN filter. Dark tint all around. Kenwood bluetooth deck with steering wheel controls and ipod controls. Recently had new pads and rotors installed up front as well as a new O2 sensor, plugs and plug wires. All work done at Falconworks in Tucson. Brand new battery. Truck is awesome both on and offroad. Does need a new door lock actuator on the driver front as well as a new window actuator for the front passenger. Besides that truck is in great shape. Ice cold a/c. All gauges work properly. Interior is in great shape. All lights and signals work and are not foggy. 4wd and center differential locker work awesome. Great 2 speed tranny for the tough spots on the trail. Asking $11,700 OBO.

Jaguar Land Rover and Chery investing in Chinese plant
Sat, 24 Nov 2012While the European auto market for Jaguar and Land Rover is waning, Chinese car buyers can't get enough of the British marques. To meet that demand, Tata Motors, parent company of Jag and Land Rover, is partnering with Chinese automaker Chery Automobile Co.
The two announced plans to invest $1.75 billion to build a new plant and create a new, China-focused brand. 2014 is the target for completion of the factory. Jaguars and Land Rovers built at the facility will be the first ever produced outside the UK according to the Associated Press. The JV will be called Chery Jaguar Land Rover Automotive Company Ltd.
The announcement comes less than a month after JLR announced it would open a design studio in China. It's not clear from the reports whether the two announcements are part of the same JV or two separate plans.

Mon, 28 Apr 2014Jaguar has moved its Range Rover Evoque-bodied tests of the production C-X17 Concept from icy streets to the legendary Nürburgring, as work continues on the brand's first SUV.
Really, there's not a great deal of new stuff here. Based on the number plates, this is a different vehicle from the one we saw back in March, which we originally identified as the upcoming replacement for the Land Rover Freelander/LR2. The details, though, appear largely the same. The biggest distinction we can see between the March tests and this are the US-spec headlights, which add amber reflectors at their sides. Based on these shots, it does seem as if the C-X17 should be a fairly poised road vehicle, as the engineers hustle it around the 'Ring.
Of course, as soon our spies can capture images of a production-bodied C-X17, we'll be sure to pass those on to you.
