2004 Land Rover Discovery Se Good Conditon, Needs Heads Replaced. on 2040-cars

Brought this Discovery on EBAY for $5500 in Dec 2013. It arrived with number 3 cylinder low compression. My mechanic tells me that the head/ needs to be replaced due to a BURNT valve. I priced rebuilt heads on EBAY AND they are going for $375 for the set. This Land rover has 101.000 miles on her.. New brakes and rotors just put on along with a new thermostat. Truck runs and drives ok, but runs rough(misfire). This truck needs little bit of TLC, but with little money put into her , you can have a decent truck that can haul 8000 lbs. Sold as is.. You can come and check it out and drive her. I am starting the auction at $2500. I don't have the cash to fix her up..My loss is someone's gain.Happy Bidding!!! JustDrive will allegedly deliver on the long-promised idea of natural communication between driver and car.
Jaguar Land Rover's all-new InControl system is set to get a big bump as the British company will add a new service called JustDrive, which expands on the smartphone-focused infotainment system by adding a singular voice controller for a wide array of the system's currently available apps.

Wed, 16 Oct 2013The upcoming line of compact 3 Series-fighters from Jaguar, often referred to as the Jaguar XS, could consist of a sedan, wagon and possibly a coupe and GT model (think BMW 5 Series GT). The car's all-aluminum architecture also will provide the basis for two new sports utility vehicles. Just how important is the much-touted "baby Jag" project to parent company Jaguar Land Rover? A JLR executive reportedly says the brand's survival is directly linked to the success of the XS, codenamed X760, Autocar reports.

But Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar's global brand director, claims Jaguar will "build the most advanced, most efficient, most refined car in that [compact luxury sedan] segment. I remember having to get out and lock hubs and shift into neutral to engage low range.
Coming off press previews of the 2013 Land Rover Range Rover and the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee that involved some heavy-duty off-road rock climbing, I'm simply amazed at the capabilities that these vehicles possess. But even more impressive (or troubling depending on your perspective) is the relative ease with which you can operate these vehicles in seemingly impossible terrain.
