2006 Land Rover Range Rover @@@@@@ on 2040-cars
Gretna, Louisiana, United States
You are bidding on a 2006 Land Rover Range Rover. It has a beautiful exterior ( Pearl White) and a Tan Leather Interior. This vehicle is USED. The tires have approx. 60% thread life left as does the break pads. The interior is in Good to Average Condition. The Motor and Transmission run GREAT. The Transmission shifts very smoothly. There isn't too much wrong with this vehicle. I can sum it up real quick. There is a switch in the center console which has been damaged, I believe this is for switching into 4-wheel LOW. Although you can still switch it, the button has been broken, The center cup holder doesn't work properly, however there are 2 functioning cup holders in the front driver-passenger area. There is a small tear behind the rear seat ( see pic). The vehicle lowers and raises approx. 11 inches with the push of a button ( which is very helpful here in Louisiana due to the heavy rainfall each year. The exterior is beautiful. Normal wear and tear is noted on a vehicle this age. There is a rust spot on the carpet in the rear where someone set something down on the floor and it was stained. The floor mats hide it. The stereo system is AMAZING an probably one of the best out of any car that I have owned. It def. turns heads when cruising with the windows down. Truly an amazing vehicle to own. Message me with any questions or concerns that you may have.

Jaguar appoints Joe Eberhardt as North American President
Thu, 19 Dec 2013Jaguar Land Rover North America has appointed a new president, Joachim Eberhardt. The German exec, 50, had previously done stints at Chrysler Group, DaimlerChrysler UK, Mercedes-Benz USA and Daimler-Benz.
Eberhardt joins JLR NA in a good, but challenging time for the company. It's fresh off the launch of the Range Rover Sport and Jaguar F-Type, which have been subject to rave reviews, and its overall sales are up 21 percent over 2012. Still, as Automotive News points out, the two manufacturers face a fight to become the equal of A-list competitors like BMW and Mercedes in the eyes of consumers.
"Joe brings a proven industry track record and valuable global leadership experience in luxury sales, service and marketing. We look forward to Joe leading our North American team in working with our retail networks to further grow the business and better serve our customers," JLR's group sales operations director, Andy Goss, said.
Jaguar Land Rover in talks for Southern US factory
Mon, 20 Oct 2014Jaguar Land Rover is getting serious about global expansion, and that means it can't only build its vehicles in the UK anymore. The British automaker is cutting the ribbon at its new plant in China tomorrow, marking the opening of its first factory outside the UK. In 2016, it will open another factory in Brazil. But the latest intel has it that JLR is looking into a US factory, as well.
The report, which comes to us from the Sunday Times by way of Automotive News Europe, indicates that the company is evaluating locations for a North American factory, with options centering around Southern right-to-work states like South Carolina, where BMW operates its plant in Spartanburg and a wide array of other automotive operations are based as well. The JLR plant would reportedly ramp up to a capacity of 200,000 units per year.
In related news, while that new plant JLR is inaugurating in Changshu, China, is initially slated to produce the Range Rover Evoque, it is also expected to start building the new Discovery Sport as well - just like the Halewood plant in the UK that has handled Evoque assembly from the start and which just built its first Discovery Sport, as well.
Jaguar and Land Rover to consolidate dealerships
Thu, 29 Nov 2012Jaguar and Land Rover are set to merge their sales facilities, according to Inside Line. Jaguar Land Rover North America President Andy Gross says 45 percent of Jaguar owners also have an SUV in their stable, so it makes sense to give customers as much exposure to the cat's high-riding cousins and possible. The number of overall outlets will remain the same, and the brands will reportedly remain separate on the showroom floor, however.
So far, just one dealer has made the move to combine under the roof of one 68,000 square-foot facility in Paramus, New Jersey (above), though a further 20 are ready to make the shift and become Jaguar Land Rover outlets. Gross believes the shift is necessary so that his company's dealer network will accurately reflect the company's products. We'll see how cozy the brands are when Jaguar starts rolling out its own SUVs in a few years.
