Up for sale is my Lexus GS 300. It's a 2001 with a 112,xxx miles. The exterior is pretty good for a 2001. I just spent $550 this week to get the hood and spoiler repainted. Changed the spark plugs a couple months ago. Runs great. I got a 5 inch DVD touch screen mounted in the console with a USB adapter. Also, all 4 tires were replaced this year. Lastly, the front speakers were changed for pioneer. Lastly, 2 12" inch subs with amp are in the trunk.
The Bad
Air conditioning makes a humming sale for the first 15 seconds the car is on. After that, it blows cold air. The motors on the door locks need to be replaced. They will work manually. I have lived with the inconvenience the last 2 plus years. Lastly, a small spot on the bumper will eventually need to be painted.
2 12 inch subs with amp that we can negotiate.

MT digs deep, learns more about hot Lexus RC coupe
Mon, 12 Aug 2013As we patiently wait for the all-new Lexus RC to be unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in November, Motor Trend has dug up some tasty info on the Japanese automaker's new coupe for us to discuss. While we already knew some speculative, but credible, details on the upcoming two-door Lexus, MT reportedly has the dish on some details of the hotter RC F coupe (shown in the spy shots above).
The article says that the F will carry a six-figure MSRP and use a 455-horsepower, 5.0-liter V8 with cylinder deactivation, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Carbon fiber body components will help reduce curb weight, and the scooped hood is said to optimize aerodynamics as the car will reach a top speed of around 186 miles per hour. Specific high-speed handling improvements include specially developed Brembo brakes, a beefed-up suspension, Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires and an automatic decklid spoiler.
As for other RC models, MT mentions the hybrid and V6 variants we already heard about, but it also says that the car could get a 2.0-liter turbo engine. Lexus LFA owner gets town to remove speed bump
Fri, 17 May 2013What do you do if you have enough money to buy a Lexus LFA but can't get the car safely to your house? Get local government involved, of course. Rune Berge Vik, of Stavanger, Norway, did just that after he bought a Lexus LFA (the only LFA in the Nordic region according to tv2.no) last year only to find out that it could not clear a speed bump in his neighborhood.
To remedy the situation, Vik got in touch with his city, which had the speed bump removed. Talk about your tax dollars hard at work. On the other hand, it's commendable that the man actually uses his supercar as a daily driver, and besides, doesn't a street-legal car have the right to access said public streets?
