TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A GREAT DEAL FOR A GREAT CAR. I BOUGHT THIS CAR NEW AND AM THE SOLE OWNER, TITLE IS CLEAR. THIS CAR HAS EXTREMELY LOW MILES FOR THE YEAR MADE. DISCLOSURE: I DID HAVE AN ACCIDENT, AND HAD COSMETIC DAMAGE TO THE FRONT BUMPER. THE REPAIR WORK WAS DONE WITH NEW LEXUS PART AT THE DEALER SERVICE CENTER WHERE I PURCHASED THE CAR. ( LEXUS OF PEMBROKE PINES). MY LAW SERVICE GUYS ALSO NICKED THE DRIVER SIDE REAR PASSENGER DOOR WITH THE LAWN MOWER. IT IS A CREASE APPROX 3" LONG. I PRICED HAVING IT FIXED, ( APPROX $600), HOWEVER I HAVE NOT GOTTEN AROUND TO IT YET. THERE IS SOME VERY MINOR DISCOLORING OF THE SHIFT LEVER HANDLE FROM SUN, AND YOUR AVGSHOPPING CART TINY DINGS HERE AND THERE. ALL IS IN THE PHOTOS. I HAVE TREATED THE CAR NICE, AND HAVE HAD ALL ROUTINE SERVICES PERFORMED, AND DONE AT THE DEALER. THE CAR CAME WITH UPGRADED RIMS, IT HAS THE DASH SCREEN NAVIGATION AND CONTROL SYSTEM. i HAD NEW LOW PROFILE TIRES ( APPROX 1000 MILES AGO) AND NEW BRAKES (APPROX 750 MILES AGO)INSTALLED RECENTLY. MY INCENTIVE TO SELL: I HAVE 4 VEHICLES AND THE COST OF INSURANCE FOR ALL IS VERY HIGH SO I HAVE DECIDED TO CUT BACK ON VEHICLES. THIS CAR HAS THE MILAGE OF A 2-3 YEAR OLD CAR!!!!! Lexus launching new Crafted Line special editions at Pebble Beach
Wed, 06 Aug 2014Over the course of the past 25 years, Lexus has done one heck of a job winding its way into the luxury automobile market previously dominated by the Germans. And now it aims to take another step into the luxury arena with The Crafted Line by Lexus.
Set to debut at Pebble Beach later this month, the Crafted line offers the Storm Trooper treatment with high-contrast white paint and black trim. The interiors are done up in two-tone black and red, and Tumi has done up a special set of luggage to match.
The special edition will be available on the ES350 as well as the F Sport versions of the LS460, GS350, IS250 (in both rear- and all-wheel drive) and RX350 AWD. Each will be limited to around 1,000 examples (give or take, depending on the model), with pricing set to start at around $42,000 for the ES pictured above. Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards
Fri, 22 Feb 2013The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.
