For sale is my 2002 is300, it runs and shifts great. I put nearly 100 miles on it daily on the highway without rattles or issues. It did have one prior minor accident to the right fender & front bumper but still carries a clean title. The paint doesnt match perfectly but its close enough. It has passed smogged, and is registered til 2014. Title in hand ready to transfer. Things that need attention are: radio & sunroof don't work, and the paint on the fender and front bumper if that bothers you, other than that its not a bad car. Email with questions

Toyota announces two recalls affecting 1M Corolla, Matrix and Lexus IS models
Wed, 30 Jan 2013The recall bug strikes Toyota again. The automaker has issued a voluntary recall of three models that, in total, represent more than one million units. Around 752,000 2003-2004 Toyota Corolla and Matrix models are being recalled for airbag concerns, while a windshield wiper issue is causing the recall for close to 270,000 Lexus IS sedans from the 2006-2012 model years.
Completely unrelated to the small airbag-related recall issued earlier in the week, the Corolla and Matrix recall is caused by a faulty airbag control module that could potentially short circuit, which could lead to the front airbags or seat belt pretensioners deploying. The Lexus recall is due to a wiper arm nut that wasn't tightened properly, which can cause the wipers to not work when trying to clear heavy buildup such as snow.

Toyota recalling 20k 2014 and 2015 cars and CUVs with 3.5L engines
Thu, 18 Sep 2014Toyota has announced a recall of roughly 20,000 vehicles covering the 2014 Avalon, Camry, Highlander (pictured) and Sienna, as well as the 2015 Lexus RX luxury crossover. The affected vehicles are all powered the 2GR-FE engine, which in layman's terms, is Toyota's well-regarded 3.5-liter V6.
According to Toyota's statement, a parts supplier might not have welded "the end cap on the right-hand fuel delivery pipe in the engine compartment" correctly, meaning fuel could leak. Leaking fuel, of course, increases the chance of an engine fire. That said, no fires, crashes or injuries have been reported due to the issue.
Owners will be notified to report to dealers, where techs will check the fuel delivery pipe and fit a replacement part as necessary.
