My Lexus LS400 runs and drives fantastic. Very smooth and powerful with Ice cold air. The paint is original and shiny. The interior is very clean, showing almost no wear. Good set of tires with about 80% tread remaining. Timing belt was done at 150,000 miles. All the windows and the Sunroof work great. I just changed the oil, had it detailed and replaced the windshield. It has a small dent on the deck lid and a smaller dent on a fender and a few scratches consistent with a 1997, but overall the car looks great and couldn't be better mechanically. I think the LS400 is the best used car on the market, the only reason I'm selling it is I upgraded to the new body style 2001. I don't think you'll find a sharper, safer or more dependable car for $3950. If you fly in I can pick you up at the airport. I have a clean Arizona title in hand. Lexus LFA owner gets town to remove speed bump
Fri, 17 May 2013What do you do if you have enough money to buy a Lexus LFA but can't get the car safely to your house? Get local government involved, of course. Rune Berge Vik, of Stavanger, Norway, did just that after he bought a Lexus LFA (the only LFA in the Nordic region according to tv2.no) last year only to find out that it could not clear a speed bump in his neighborhood.
To remedy the situation, Vik got in touch with his city, which had the speed bump removed. Talk about your tax dollars hard at work. On the other hand, it's commendable that the man actually uses his supercar as a daily driver, and besides, doesn't a street-legal car have the right to access said public streets?
Lexus GS F points its gaping grille at the BMW M5
Thu, 02 Oct 2014A mere trio of weeks after the latest report in the slow-moving Lexus GS F rumor cycle, we have a brand new batch of spy photos of the BMW M5-fighting sedan. Looking more and more production ready - notice the more finished exhausts compared to our last round of photos - the GS F can be seen poking around what we imagine is Germany.
If the RC and RC F Coupes are any indication, it looks like Lexus will start fitting its high-performance models with a new, single-frame version of the spindle grille while a dual-frame grille will be reserved for lesser trims. Backing up that suspicion is the new single-frame grille found on this prototype, marking the first time the suspected F line styling piece has been seen on a GS F prototype.
The aforementioned staggered quad exhausts look good on the GS' rear end, while a none-too-subtle rear spoiler ups the rear's visual flair. The low-profile rubber and the multi-spoke, black wheels are nice touches that work well with the front fascia features, in addition to the new, camo'd grille and substantial brake cooling ducts.

Wed, 19 Feb 2014Lexus has been desperate to break out of its decidedly boring image for years. There is no doubt that it has made quality cars, but many of them have lacked for excitement. But with the new RC in 2014, especially the M4-fighting RC F version, it might finally turn some heads.
If the car doesn't turn heads, Lexus can at least be sure that Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Lisalla Montenegro will, in its latest video. Of course, phrases like, "Hair by over 383 pound-feet of torque," and, "Goosebumps by an aggressively tuned exhaust note," don't really mean anything, but most of the people watching the video aren't going to be reading the copy, anyway.
