Rare and beautiful 2006 Lexus SC430, Pebble Beach Edition. Tigereye Pearl Mica paint color with
camel leather Interior. Only 200
made. New for 2006, six-speed automatic
transmission and updated exterior styling includes a new front fascia, adaptive
front headlamps, color matched wheels and LED tail lamps. Navigation, Mark Levinson Sound System w/6
CD, Heated Seats. Car was bought in 2011
from a car friend down south with 25,400 miles.
Title is status NJ 'S' (salvage-repaired) and the car does have accident
history in the rear and sat inside for over a year in Alabama while he fixed it slow and right, hence the low miles. We have never experienced any problems. Then in 2012 my wife had her own accident
with a light pole and an 84 year old man hit her not too bad in stop and go traffic (this is all in the history).
That provided all new Lexus OE parts, headlights, aluminum hood and complete front and rear fascias and complete factory paint less than 2 years old. 48,810 miles, looks and runs
brand new. Paint is excellent, good fuel
mileage. It has been a pleasure to own,
top up or down. Everything works perfectly
and you will not find another one in this color or condition. Nice matching Lexus Pebble Beach carpet mats that I worked hard to find. Have all original manuals and paperwork
including original invoice at over $67,000.00. Non-smoker vehicle. Relisted due to a non-paying bidder who missed a great deal. I have lowered the reserve slightly. Buy this one with less miles and for $10K less than any other SC430 you can find and it is a Pebble Beach! Car is dirty in the pics bu the paint is excellent. The ONLY thing I can point out on my wife's Lexus is the tires are close to 50%. Please be sure you have funds in hand. Pre-inspections welcome, questions, email or call John, 8568899449. |

Chevy Camaro ZL1, Lexus LFA celebrate National Donut Day
Fri, 07 Jun 2013Happy National Donut Day, everyone! While some of us may have already celebrated this high-caloric holiday at our local Dunkin' Donuts or Tim Horton's, Chevrolet and Lexus have taken the opportunity to offer us delicious donuts of a different sort. Using a "professional donut maker" and a 2013 Camaro ZL1, Chevy has released a video of its 580-horsepower coupe laying down some serious rubber. Lexus has countered with its LFA supercar and, oddly, LPGA pro golfer Natalie Gulbis.
Just like many of the donut chains across the country, Chevy and Lexus are giving away these donuts for free. Not only do their donuts contain zero fat, they're also easily enjoyable over the Internet, albeit nowhere near as tasty as a Krispy Kreme. Scroll down to enjoy both videos.
Toyota fills in details about its future design direction and global platform
Fri, 25 Oct 2013
"In the future, out of 100 customers, we want to excite ten of them instead of not offending all 100."
Almost all of the details about the Toyota New Group Architecture (TNGA) strategy have come out since the initiative was first reported on in March of this year, but Autoblog did learn a few new things about it on a recent trip to Japan. Probably the second-most important detail is that each new segment platform will be based around a common hip point to create an "optimal driving position architecture."
Lexus IS, new and old, and LFA to make splash at SEMA
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Lexus has announced its Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show cars: a group of eight Lexus IS sedans spanning all three generations, and a 2012 LFA supercar. One of the show cars, a custom 2014 Lexus IS 350 F Sport, is a creation penned by IS fan Rob Evans, the winner of a contest to design a Lexus SEMA show car.
The standouts in the group of Lexus IS show cars, in no particular order, are a 700-horsepower 2014 Lexus IS 340 (it has a heavily modified Toyota Supra inline six swapped in, which is stroked out to 3.4 liters, hence the nomenclature change) by Philip Case and a supercharged 2004 Lexus IS 300 by Maricar Cortez. Both cars prove that oldies can be goodies - the venerable Supra 2JZTE engine, which ceased production over a decade ago, lives on in a 2014 platform, and the 2004 IS 300 gets a supercharger and remains relevant through the use of electronics, such as a back-up radar sensor, upgraded headlights and more.
Of course, the LFA by Guy S. De Alwis will be a stand out on its own, but unfortunately Lexus only provided us with a couple pictures that don't do it justice. We'll have to take a closer look at it on the show floor. Same goes for the IS penned by contest-winner Rob Evans, of which only a rendering was provided.
