1-Triple Black sedan 100% complete & original, ready to drive. 1-Triple Black Convertible 100% complete and original, needs a full restoration 1-White with black roof sedan, once belonged to a Lincoln Motorcars Company executive. 100% complete and original Needs full restoration. I originally bought the sedan 4 years ago from an estate sale. It runs like new and is 100% complete and original. The interior is incredible for it's age. The previous owner who bought the car new had the interior wrapped in plastic to protect the leather in 1965. I removed the plastic 4 years ago to reveal a perfect original interior. I later locally found the triple black convertible and white sedan for sale. I had intentions of restoring and creating 1 perfect triple black convertible. Unfortunately between running a business, getting engaged and buying anew home I just don't have the time to complete this project. The triple black convertible is extremely rare. The white sedan was specially created for and owned by a Lincoln executive in 1965 and has the dashboard plaque denoting this. Email with questions. Ford to update Sync, MyFord Touch software... again
Wed, 07 Aug 2013Ford hasn't had the best luck with its MyFord Touch and Sync systems, as the finicky infotainment system has been subject to a critical whooping while customer issues have helped sink Ford's IQS scores. The automaker has made a concerted effort, though, to try and fix MyFord Touch. And while the results have been mixed, The Blue Oval is hoping its latest free update, set to go live next week, will make things better.
According to a report from The Detroit News, the new system promises streamlined voice commands with fewer levels between opening query and actual result. Ford is also addressing where certain options are selected on the touchscreen. Rather than working one of the four quadrants on the homescreen, users will be able to select anywhere within the quadrant to make adjustments.
While it might only be a band-aid for MFT's problems, the fact that Ford is still trying to improve it is a promising sign. It's going to take more than just this update to address the system's ills, though.
Lincoln, GMC clean up in AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards
Tue, 17 Jun 2014In recent years, there have been a lot of dire pronouncements made about Lincoln's future, or a lack thereof. But Ford's premium marque is like the Rocky Balboa of the auto business; every time the company seems ready to go, it comes back for more. Apparently, that dogged persistence is paying off, because the industry analysts at AutoPacific have put a big check in their win column with their newly released 2014 model year vehicle satisfaction survey. And despite recent enmity for its seemingly never-ending recall saga, it appears General Motors knows how to satisfy new owners, too.
In fact, not only was Lincoln named as the premium brand with the highest new owner satisfaction, even scored three models on the list of passenger cars with the most gratified buyers - the MKS, MKZ and MKZ Hybrid.
GM's stable of brands was also among the top companies in this year's survey. GMC was named the top popular brand by AutoPacific, with its Sierra pickup and Acadia crossover singled out for awards in their segments. Chevrolet also did incredibly well, with more cars on the list than any other brand. The Corvette, Camaro, Sonic and Impala all made the cut in their respective categories.
Never mind the naysayers; Lincoln is worth saving

You should always be careful about the name you choose to give your new baby. The power of association can work in many ways, not always positive.
