1976 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL TOWN CAR
I am pleased to offer a very nice 1976 Lincoln Town Car. This is the best that Lincoln offered in 1976 and it shows. This Town Car is loaded and the great news is that it all works. This is an original Lincoln. I could not find any paint work or any previous accident damage. I will not tell you that it is perfect as there are dings and scratches on the body and some rust bubbles at the base of the vinyl top. Please see pictures. The chrome is really great and very bright. All of the lights work including the vacuum operated headlamp doors. The alloy wheels are a special option and are wrapped in Michelin tires. Inside is a work of art. The dash is neat with all its instruments. This Lincoln has automatic headlamps, AM/FM stereo quadrasonic tape and working power antenna, automatic climate control that works but will need to be converted to 1134, tilt wheel, power door locks, power windows and dual power seats. This Lincoln runs and rives great with no mechanical issues. It is simply more fun that you can ever believe. It is great for weddings, Friday night cruise-ins with five of your closest friends or simply a tour car. I hope you like this Lincoln as much as I do so bid to own. Thanks for looking.

KY bidders will add 6% usage tax and $199 transfer/doc fees. Out of state residents will add $128 to cover title fees, mailing costs, temporary tags, etc. Contact to be made by winning bidder within business 24 hours and a minimum partial payment to be made within 72 hours of auction end. The partial payment is non-refundable, unless we fail to deliver the goods as described. Balance will be due within 7 business days of the close of the auction. Any exceptions to be worked out before the completion of the sale. Auctions ending on a Friday or holiday will be addressed the follow business day. After the horrible weather last winter, it's hard to look forward for the season to return this year. For those readers in much of the country, the snow is going to be flying soon, and with it comes salt on the roads. That means Ford's regional recall for the 2007-2008 Edge and Lincoln MKX arrives at the perfect time because they are at risk for corrosion.
The campaign covers 204,448 examples of the models in 21 states, plus the District of Columbia and some provinces of Canada. In total there are 186,024 vehicles in need of repair in the US and 18,424 in Canada.
According to Ford, it's possible for the area, "under the reinforcement brackets where the fuel tank is mounted" to corrode. If this happens, there might be a gas smell in the vehicle or even a fuel leak could develop. In fact, the automaker reports that one fire could be related to the problem but no injuries or accidents are reported.

Ford is recalling certain 2012 Taurus, 2013 Explorer and 2012 Lincoln MKS models over fuel tank concerns. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, vehicles built between July 19, 2011 and March 15, 2012 may have been built with fuel tanks that have a "marginally sealed seam" on the side. Those seams may not provide the strength necessary to protect the tank from rupture during a collision. They may also leak. The recall covers a total of 3,037 vehicles. NHTSA says that leaked fuel, in the presence of an ignition source, could easily cause a fire.
Dealers will inspect the tanks and replace them as need be free of charge. Owners can expect to be notified once the campaign begins on or around April 22, 2013. You can read the full NHTSA recall notice below for more information.
