I have a nice Lincoln up for Sale. It has a 302 V8 5.0 Liter with
156K on it. runs Great and drives Great; the Heater and A/C Work great;
Transmission and Motor are Pretty Sound. No Problems with it since I've
owned it. I Bought it from an Elderly Couple who kept it Garaged most of its
Life. I've also put a New Muffler System on it and now Sounds Good and
Quiet. Radio Works Good and it has the Factory Sound System. I've
just had 2 new Tires put on the Front. All the Lights, Gauges, Switches
work, it has a nice Sunroof that Opens and Closes, i had a Transmission
Fluid change too when I bought it, I just got the Cruise Control Fixed and it wasn't cheap and now works just fine, the only Downside on the Interior are the 2 Front
Seats which are Ripped but I've Patched em up, there is little to no Rust at all on this car. Body and Frame are in Perfect Shape. other then that the Car is a Nice Ride. I am asking $3200

Lincoln prepping MKZ re-launch?

Case in point is the 2013 Lincoln MKZ, introduced with the fanfare of a major nationwide marketing campaign, including expensive Super Bowl ads, just as Ford was curbing production over potential quality issues. The resulting mess was nothing short of a nightmare for any automaker - customers visiting dealerships looking for cars that hadn't been delivered yet. Disappointed buyers walked out of Lincoln retailers without new keys in their hands, or switched to a competing brand to fill empty spaces in their driveways.
The impact was painful, as Lincoln's sales in January and February of this year were among the lowest it has recorded in more than a quarter century. Even though March looked a bit brighter, with the supply crisis reportedly over (there are 3,000 units in transit and production is approaching 200 units per day) the automaker is reportedly studying the feasibility of giving its pivotal MKZ the launch it originally deserved.
According to TheDetroitBureau.com, putting the MKZ back on consumer's radar could cost Ford tens of millions of dollars, but that kind of investment may be warranted if potential buyers have forgotten about the new model... or worse, if they have forgotten about Lincoln.
2002 Lincoln Continental concept should've made production, headed for auction instead
Fri, 26 Sep 2014It seems like the retro design aesthetic in autos might be petering out, with even a former poster child like the Ford Mustang taking a step in a more modern direction. Sometimes those updates of old-school models really worked well, though. Just take a look above at the Lincoln Continental concept from 2002 that took the extruded shape of the 1960s version and updated it for the new millennium.
Now there's a chance for this gorgeous concept to take a spot in your garage, as RM Auctions is selling it as part of a 130-plus-car, no-reserve auction of the Sam Pack Collection on November 14 and 15, in Dallas, TX. Among the lots for sale are a number of Fords, including several recent concepts from the brand. "My collecting philosophy is simple: buy what I like, but always with an emphasis on quality," Pack said in the auction announcement.
The Continental concept absolutely nails the mix of modern and retro. Its perfectly crisp lines make the shape appear hewn from a single piece of metal, and there's just the slightest ornamentation with the angled, chrome slats in the grille and chrome strips over the wheel arches. It even retains the suicide doors from its inspiration.
