Up for auction is my amazing 2004 Lincoln Navigator! I have owned this car for over 5 years now and have loved every moment. I have recently purchased a new truck so it is time for me to sell this one. It’s a real head turner and people always stop and comment. As you can see from the pictures it looks like a new car as I have METICULOUSLY cared for it with regular mantaince and cleaning. So what does it have? 26" rims and tires A/C ice cold, Always garaged, Excellent condition, Fully loaded with all the goodies, Looks & drives great, Never seen snow, Title in hand, Very clean interior, Well maintained, oil changes every 3k miles! Overall this great truck drives great and looks amazing. I have the title in hand and am asking 9,999 firm. Blue book is 11,350 (without the rims which are ~2k alone) and carmax will pay 9k+ so no low ballers or tire kickers. At this price it’s going to go quick so the first 9,999 gets it. As with all my auctions this vehicle is being sold AS IS with no warranties express or implied and zero or negative bidders will be cancelled as I have been burned before. Ellen DeGeneres sends up Matthew McConaughey's Lincoln ad
Mon, 29 Sep 2014Lincoln had to have known that when it released its new ad campaign for the new MKC with Matthew McConaughey, it would open itself up to a bit of good old fashioned ridicule. The television commercial was, after all, good for a laugh or two. And true to their mission, talk show hosts haven't missed the opportunity to have a little fun at Lincoln's and McConaughey's expense.
Conan O'Brien was first to send up the television spot, but now Ellen DeGeneres has taken a stab at it too, superimposing herself in the back seat of the compact luxury crossover, downing some pot brownies and generally playing Costello to McConaughey's Abbott. It's worth a watch, if only to see Ellen getting down in her usual, offbeat style.
2015 Lincoln Navigator ready to roll for $62,475*
Wed, 21 May 2014Fancy picking up a refreshed Lincoln Navigator? Well, prepare to shell out at least $62,475. That's a whopping increase of $6,310 for the now-EcoBoost-equipped SUV.
That's just for the two-wheel-drive Select model, though. Want to drive all four wheels? Better have an extra $3,575 laying around. Snagging the top-of-the-line Reserve model, meanwhile, demands a premium of $7,500.
For those extra bills, you'll net Lincoln Drive Control, complete with continuously controlled dampers, power running boards, Ziricote wood interior trim, upgraded leather, 22-inch wheels, a "unique" interior headliner and, of course, a "Reserve" badge.
2015 Ford F-150 named Truck of Texas, Lincoln and Jeep also awarded at Truck Rodeo
Tue, 14 Oct 2014The Ford Motor Company has a lot of reasons to celebrate after winning eight categories in this year's Texas Auto Writers Association's annual Truck Rodeo. Most important among them, the Blue Oval's latest 2015 Ford F-150 earned the prestigious Truck of Texas award, ending the Ram 1500's two-year winning streak. The 2015 Lincoln MKC also grabbed the honor as the CUV of Texas, and Ford was named Truck Line of Texas.
FoMoCo even took trophies for best technology with its extensive use of aluminum on its latest F-Series and best commercial vehicle for the new Transit 250. It wasn't a total sweep, though, because the Jeep Grand Cherokee grabbed the title of the SUV of Texas for the fifth straight time.
This year's event put 60 auto writers in 75 pickups, SUVs and crossovers and challenged them to find the best in a plethora of categories. All of the winners are listed below, and scroll down to read the full announcements from the Texas Auto Writers Association and Ford.
