I purchased this Lincoln Town Car with the intention of driving across the United States and Canada sightseeing. My job is keeping me too busy and I do not have room in the garage. This Town Car is in excellent condition with no rust or wrecks. The previous owner tore a small section on the front seat and made matters worse with duct tape. When removed, the tape pulled the top layer of the leather...easy to repair. I purchased new tires and all the tread is like new. Spare tire is original. I removed the carpet in the trunk to show the nice floor and will re-install this week, before delivery. The paint is listed as purple, but the color is actually a very light lavendar, and looks silver, light pink in certain light. The carpet is bright red and is perfect. Original floor mats included. Leather is a bright white and the only damage is a small tear in drivers seat. All owners manuals included. I would like to keep this fine example of Lincoln Elegance, but it must go. Original mileage is correct and car has been garage kept all of its life. The engine runs like new and the transmission shifts perfectly. No leaks, no drips. The engine uses no oil and has been changed every 3000 miles. The engine compartment is very clean. I believe the air bag suspension has a slow leak and replacement bags are available for under $100 on ebay. The air suspension pump works fine. Please email any questions, I will answer promptly and honestly. I want you to be happy with your purchase. I can deliver this vehicle anywhere in the United States if buyer purchases my return airfare to Huntsville, Alabama and pays for actual fuel cost for delivery. I am confident this automobile will provide dependable transportation for many years. I have owned and driven it for over 600,000 miles.

Lincoln MKC Concept shows real promise [w/video]
Sun, 13 Jan 2013Ford's efforts to resuscitate its moribund Lincoln luxury brand began in earnest with the introduction of its 2014 MKZ sedan, a model many labeled as the marque's make-or-break offering. Of course, one model does not a comeback make, and with the MKZ just now starting to trickle into dealers, it will be some time before America's jury of consumers comes in with their judgment. More to the point, it's likely to take better than a decade's worth of products and sustained marketing effort to even begin to figure out whether Lincoln has a shot at redemption or if it will die of Mercury poisoning. After all, rival General Motors has been pouring resources into Cadillac since the late '90s, and if the sales charts are any guidance, it's still probably too early to declare its rebirth a success.
Certainly, a brand with Ford's resources, free of distractions (read: the now-defunct Premier Auto Group and various other side projects) should be able to successfully market a single luxury brand, particularly one with such a rich - if distant - history. Especially now with the Blue Oval enjoying more consumer goodwill than at any time in recent history. So let's all give Alan Mulally and friends a little room to work, eh?
We can start by focusing on the compact crossover seen before you, the Lincoln MKC Concept. Riding atop the same global C-platform that underpins the Ford C-Max, Escape and Focus, the MKC showcar here presages a production small CUV that will stick its distinctive nose into one of the auto industry's fastest-growing segments.
2015 Lincoln Navigator ready to roll for $62,475*
Wed, 21 May 2014Fancy picking up a refreshed Lincoln Navigator? Well, prepare to shell out at least $62,475. That's a whopping increase of $6,310 for the now-EcoBoost-equipped SUV.
That's just for the two-wheel-drive Select model, though. Want to drive all four wheels? Better have an extra $3,575 laying around. Snagging the top-of-the-line Reserve model, meanwhile, demands a premium of $7,500.
For those extra bills, you'll net Lincoln Drive Control, complete with continuously controlled dampers, power running boards, Ziricote wood interior trim, upgraded leather, 22-inch wheels, a "unique" interior headliner and, of course, a "Reserve" badge.
2015 Lincoln MKC aims to rejuvenate the brand... again
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Ford is slowly but surely attempting to revitalize the Lincoln brand, with the new MKZ sedan pointing the way forward for the Blue Oval's struggling luxury division. Here at the LA Auto Show, Lincoln is showing the next new product that aims to give the brand new life, the 2015 MKC crossover.
The MKC is based on the trusty Ford Escape, but this is far more than just a rebadge job. Lincoln has used completely new sheetmetal here, with the brand's familiar split-wing grille front and center, and a classy, wraparound tailgate with super slim taillamps that span the width of the hatchback. It's one of the better applications of Lincoln's new design language we've seen thus far, and the end result is a taut-looking crossover that is at the same time both modern and luxurious-looking.
Further differentiating itself from the Escape, the MKC packs an all-new 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, good for 275 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. (On the base end, Ford's 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder with 240 hp and 270 lb-ft is available.) The MKC also uses a new Continuously Controlled Damping adaptive suspension, and is available with both front- and all-wheel drive.
