Fore Sale is my 1994 Lincoln Town Car with 52,000 original miles. I'm the third owner and it has always been located in Atlanta, GA.
This vehicle wasn't driven much. I bought it 3 months ago, on eBay for $5,500.00, and I now need to, "thin the herd".
I replaced all fluids, transmission, coolant, oil and cleaned all the injectors.
In the three months since I've owned it these are my observations. It starts right up, but revs high until it's warmed up. Some trim in a couple of areas has come off their retainers. The leather seats are in good condition, should be cleaned and conditioned. The window regulators in the rear may need to be replaced. The trunk lid has several scratches. The heater/AC control buttons are cracked and the lights shine through. Anything works, it's just the thin plastic buttons are subject to, I believe, fingernails poking through them. The tires look new. One of them is not part of the set. There's a CD plug in the trunk, but no multi disc CD player. The dash top is pristine. No cracking at all. This vehicle has air bags and the generator adjusts, at time when the vehicle is off. The vehicle seems to be leaning more to one side, slightly. I have not had a chance to have to whole air bag suspention/genarator looked at. The Radio and speakers work just fine.
This vehicle is like driving down the highway in a leather loveseat. It also has surprising zero to 60 pick up. Again, this is an almost 20 year old vehicle with just over 50K original miles. It has some wear and tear, but it's still like riding on a cloud.
Buyer responsible for pick up and shipping. Low Reserve.
I reserve the right to sell locally and end auction early.

2015 Lincoln Navigator puts on a brave face, offers EcoBoost V6 only
Thu, 23 Jan 2014
Lincoln has finally given its SUV a facelift after seven long years.
Seven years is a long time. For the auto industry, though, seven years is an absolute eternity. Most vehicles receive clean-sheet redesigns within the span of seven years, usually getting a facelift of some sort after year three or four. Not Lincoln.
Ford to update Sync, MyFord Touch software... again
Wed, 07 Aug 2013Ford hasn't had the best luck with its MyFord Touch and Sync systems, as the finicky infotainment system has been subject to a critical whooping while customer issues have helped sink Ford's IQS scores. The automaker has made a concerted effort, though, to try and fix MyFord Touch. And while the results have been mixed, The Blue Oval is hoping its latest free update, set to go live next week, will make things better.
According to a report from The Detroit News, the new system promises streamlined voice commands with fewer levels between opening query and actual result. Ford is also addressing where certain options are selected on the touchscreen. Rather than working one of the four quadrants on the homescreen, users will be able to select anywhere within the quadrant to make adjustments.
While it might only be a band-aid for MFT's problems, the fact that Ford is still trying to improve it is a promising sign. It's going to take more than just this update to address the system's ills, though.
Lincoln scales back free maintenance
Wed, 05 Jun 2013Complimentary scheduled maintenance programs have been great tools for luxury automakers to draw in new customers, but some are starting to scale their programs back considerably. According to Automotive News, Lincoln is joining Jaguar and Volvo on the list of automakers reducing the length of time it will be providing free maintenance to its customers.
Lincoln's four-year/50,000-mile maintenance program first kicked off as an incentive in 2010 and became permanent later that year, but starting with the 2014 model year, this will be cut to just two years and 24,000 miles. This could make short-term leases even more appealing for some consumers, but according to Automotive News, some Lincoln dealers are unhappy with the scaling back. The move admittedly comes at an odd time for Lincoln, with parent Ford seemingly working hard to increase consideration among luxury buyers as it looks to reverse the marque's long decline.
