2007 Lincoln Town Car Designer Series Sedan 4-door 4.6l on 2040-cars
College Point, New York, United States
Up for sale is my 2007 Lincoln Towncar Signature series. It is a black exterior, black exterior with 270XXX miles, and still running strong. Engine was recently rebuilt about 6 months ago, and transmission was done about a year ago. I am a livery driver, purchased the vehicle on 2010 with 140K miles, and had it ever since. Oil change was done every 3000 miles, and all maintenance is done regularly. The check engine light is on recently, and the code says P0420 for catalytic converter, which will cost about $200 to fix. I just purchased a 2012 MKS so now I am selling this for cheap!
Please remember that you are buying a 8-year-old USED VEHICLE, so there will be some imperfection on the body. Also vehicle is selling AS IS, means I can only guarantee the things that I described. Come take a look at the car and you won't be disappointed. Feel free to text me at 646-270-2670 if you have any question. This car is great for car service and daily drive use. Thanks for looking |

Ford issues six recalls covering 101,000 vehicles for multiple issues
Tue, 08 Jul 2014Ford is announcing six separate recalls for a variety of issues affecting a dozen models and a total of 100,610 vehicles in North America. However, according to Ford spokesperson Kelli Felker, "None of them have caused accidents or injuries." Half of them cover fewer than 1,000 cars.
The largest recall covers 92,022 North American examples (about 83,250 in the US) of some models of the Ford Taurus, Lincoln MKS, Ford Interceptor, Flex and Lincoln MKT from the 2013 and 2014 model years; the 2012-2014 Edge and the 2014 Lincoln MKX. All of them have a potential issue with the halfshaft on the right side that might not be fully seated and could move outward over time. If it shifts too far, the models may no longer be able to drive, and the condition could also allow the vehicles to roll away, even when in Park. Dealers will inspect the shaft to make sure it's seated and will replace the part if necessary.
The next-largest recall covers 5,264 North American examples (4,867 in the US) of the Ford F59 Commercial Stripped Chassis from the 2011-2014 model years. It's possible that an electrical junction box can corrode in areas with salty roads and short circuit. The problem could potentially cause a fire. Dealers will replace the box with an improved design.
Never mind the naysayers; Lincoln is worth saving

In the case of Henry Leland, naming his new car brand after the first President he cast a vote for in 1864 seemed a jolly good idea, on paper.
You should always be careful about the name you choose to give your new baby. The power of association can work in many ways, not always positive.
Lincoln MKC spied in final form
Mon, 14 Oct 2013When the Lincoln MKC Concept debuted back in January, it received fairly positive feedback from both Autoblog editors and readers alike, and this bodes well for the production version of the luxury crossover judging by these latest spy shots. Reader Ivan Lo captured a few pictures of some MKC prototypes driving around with minimal camouflage, which gives us our best look yet at the design of this new Escape-based Lincoln.
Based on the spy shots from back in May, we already knew that the production MKC would sport some real door handles, a little side cladding and bigger door mirrors, but these latest shots also show us that the rear quarter windows have been enlarged and the integrated dual exhaust outlets have been replaced by round pipes. This means that the MKC will retain the concept's narrow headlights and what is arguably Lincoln's best execution of its split-wing grille. Even better, the rear view confirms the stylish horizontal taillights will remain intact, as well as the Audi-like wraparound liftgate. Since the entire taillight assembly rises along with the liftgate, redundant lights were also added into the rear fascia.
Unfortunately, the low angle of these spy shots leaves us without a view of the interior, but based on its looks alone, the MKC is shaping up to be a promising vehicle for a brand that so badly needs some fresh metal.
