2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder Gts Convertible V6 5spd Manual Clean Inspected on 2040-cars
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States
2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder V6 What at fun car!! I've enjoyed this 03 Eclipse Spyder for a while now it is time for it to go. 144k miles but It is in VERY good condition overall. Strong V6 engine. 5spd manual. Clutch is good. Power Top works fine and has no rips or tears. It's a 11 year old car so naturally it leaks a little bit if its in pouring rain but not too bad at all. Gray exterior with black leather inside and blue inserts. One scrape on drivers side and a crack a bottom part of front bumper as shown but nothing too major for an older car. Its a GTS model so it's loaded up. Has 144k miles but I still may drive it with weather getting nicer. NO engine lights or strange noises. Windows/Heat/AC work OK. Radio works good but I think the CD player has an error. I never use it anyway. Wheels are sharp in black powder-coat. Tires are ok maybe 60% up front adn 80% rear. Sounds like it will need rear brakes soon. I already have the parts and may put them on. 8/14 PA Inspection. Fast and fun! Perfect inexpensive convertible for this summer. Please leave message on ebay or call 2674400075 with any questions you have prior to bidding. I dont use ebay all the time but I will do my best to respond to all messages in a timely fashion. KBB suggests car to sell around $4300. Im a little flexible but will not entertain the ridiculous offers. Thanks. LOW RESERVE SET! |

Little Red Racing Car Kickstarter project a father/son affair [w/video]
Thu, 14 Feb 2013Tales of fathers and sons, whether told for adults or for children, never go out of style. It's appropriate then that The Little Red Racing Car, a story about a father and son finding and restoring a 1955 Maserati 300S, is such a stylish piece of work.
Author Dwight Knowlton first started working on The Little Red Racing Car when, after his son was born, he "went looking for the perfect Father/Son/Car book" and couldn't find one. Knowlton's artwork in has been influenced heavily by vintage automotive advertising and Grand Prix posters, and has a very clean, art deco vibe as a result.
Of course, TLRRC is still just a work in progress. Knowlton is hoping the Kickstarter community will help to get the ball rolling, and raise $25,000 to the book printed and distributed. The author even has a stretch goal to have the whole shebang made into and animated film - we love big dreams. Follow on below to hear Knowlton's pitch in his own words, or jump over to his Kickstarter page to look further or buy-in.
2014 Maserati Ghibli S Q4 [w/video]
Wed, 12 Mar 2014For one reason or another, this is a car people stare at. They might be drawn to its curvaceous shape riding on immense wheels. They could be intrigued by its gaping, blacked-out grille which houses an equally outsized trident logo, or doing quick calculations about the last time they saw a car wearing the name Maserati. It may be its sports-car-like proportions mixed with achingly long, four-door bodywork that draws their eye.
Or, and I urge you to consider this theory carefully, the people taking notice of this Maserati Ghibli S Q4 might simply be newly alert after hearing the sound of its exhaust ricocheting off any solid thing nearby as I drive past grinning like a certified asshat. Did you hear an Italianate engine song careening through your Ann Arbor, MI neighborhood, in the black of the early morning, just a few weeks previous? Sorry, guy, that was probably me.
I spent a week hammering this all-wheel-drive Ghibli as hard as I dared in the last truly miserable stretch of the God Awful Winter of 2014. I can honestly say that I enjoyed myself, shocked at both the frank way this new challenger luxury car went down the road as well as the attention it garnered in the process.
Maserati's sub-Quattroporte sedan spotted testing
Mon, 30 Jul 2012The spy photogs at CarPix have caught the upcoming small sedan from Maserati to slot under the Quattroporte, rumored to be dubbed Levante, out testing. The spy shots frankly don't tell us much more than that, since the mule is wrapped in an ill-fitting Quattroporte body giving away little more than a shorter wheelbase and smaller brakes.
The Levante, if that's what it's called, will be Maserati's entry into the luxury mid-sized sedan segment to compete with the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Audi A6 and BMW 5 Series. Said to arrive late next year, it will have its luxury ducks in a row, supposedly offering a twin-turbo V6, a V8 and a 300-horsepower diesel with 500 pound-feet of torque.
Questions about engines and their provenance remain; the next Quattroporte is getting a Ferrari-sourced supercharged V6 and turbocharged V8, but it is wondered if the Levante's V6 might come from the other side of the Fiat stable, namely Chrysler. No matter where the motors come from, though, they'll be run through an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission.
