This is my BEAUTIFUL 1984 RX7 GSL-SE! It is sad that I must part with her but I need to. She is an absolute beauty!! With so few miles and completely stock, this car is an absolute must for a rotary enthusiast or collector. Additionally, unlike the first gen RX-7 S, GS or GSL, the GSL-SE was only made for two years (84-85) and comes equipped with the coveted fuel injected 13B 1.3 L rotary which became Mazda's staple rotary from 84-02 (US) and from 04-11 in the RX8 (RENESIS 13B - albeit same basic idea). This car is a true collctor's dream as it is the last of the first generation RX7s. Anyhow - enough of the sap - here's the story: This is a GSL-SE with ONLY 51,900(+) miles! Can you believe it? Before I purchased this car, I checked CarFax and VINCheck Pro. Everything matched up. In fact, I can provide these documents upon your request for your evaluation. 2014 Mazda3 configurator zoom-zooms to life
Thu, 29 Aug 2013The 2014 Mazda3 is probably going to be on a lot of shopping lists, thanks to its striking good looks, clean interior treatment, fuel economy and driving character. If it happens to be on your personal list of new cars to test, you'll be happy to see that the configurator for Mazda's newest product has officially gone online.
In terms of build-your-own web items, configuring a 3 isn't much of a departure from the rest of the Mazda range. Most of the work comes from choosing one of the three trim levels - Sport, Touring and Grand Touring - and selecting either the 155-horsepower, 2.0-liter, Skyactiv four-cylinder or its larger sibling, the 184-horsepower, 2.5-liter, Skyactiv four. From there, a simple range of color and interior finishes are available, before a slim list of packages, options and accessories. Really, Mazda's made it easy to get through this build process.

Mazda's awesome Hiroshima museum now navigable by Google Maps

Most of us have a decent museum within a few hours drive of where we live, but that doesn't mean it's easy to see the world's great collections - factors like cost, time and mobility can get in the way. Videos are great, but they don't allow us to browse at our own pace or choose what we'd like to focus on. The folks behind Google Maps have a solution - the virtual museum tour, as seen here at Mazda's fantastic museum in Hiroshima, Japan.

Mazda and Lexus crowned with KBB 5-Year Cost To Own awards
Tue, 12 Feb 2013We report on a lot of awards, some of which are given out based on more solid criteria than others. This one, the Kelley Blue Book 5-Year Cost to Own awards, seems like one that new car shoppers should pay attention to.
The cost of a car goes far beyond what you pay for the actual metal, leather and rubber at the point of purchase. Fuel, insurance, maintenance and repair costs, and the cost of fees from the state and financing will all weigh on your wallet while you own the car. That's not even taking into account the biggest cost: depreciation, or the amount of money you lose based on what your car is worth years from now versus the day you bought it.
KBB tracks these sorts of things, and they've compiled a list of winners for 2013 models. On the brand level, Mazda and Lexus earn the 5-Year Cost to Own award for having the lowest overall projected five-year totals (though, curiously, we note that Mazda and Lexus each had only one segment winner). There are lots of winners for all the various segments, so we'll just pick out a few surprising ones to share and you can view the rest here.
