Zoom Zoom! This car is in great condition and very fun to drive. Only 123,631 miles, black on black. A complete body work was done 2009 to remove normal dents and scratches accumulated over time. This included 3 coats of paint and 3 clear coats as well. A new AM/FM/CD/MP3 stereo and speakers were installed in '09. Battery was replaced in 2012, timing belt and water pump was done in 2011. Radiator has been flushed, transmission and differential fluid replaced with synthetic in 2010. Brake pads are new. Clutch slave replaced in '09. Soft vinyl top was replaced in '04 and comes with a boot. Windows are tinted (Includes brow tint). The seat covers have protected the integrity of the cloth upholstery very well. This car gets waxed 2 times a year. We have receipts for all major maintenance. Current and previous owners over 40 years old.
I need to make room in my garage for a new toy. I drive this car 2 days a week to work, but otherwise is garage kept at home.
Minor issues for an 18 yr. old car:
- The rear window is slightly torn along the bottom edge.
- Wiper fluid tubes need replacing

Mazda recalls 109k Tribute models for rust issue
Fri, 18 Apr 2014The Mazda Tribute is being hit with a similar recall as its platform-mate the Ford Escape underwent a few weeks ago. Mazda is recalling 109,000 Tributes from model years 2001 to 2004. On the trucks, the subframe can rust from road salt, potentially causing the lower control arm to detach. If this happens, a loss of steering control could occur.
Mazda is adding a reinforcement crossbrace for added strength on the affected models. The recall covers Tributes currently registered in or originally sold in 20 northern states and Washington, DC, where road salt is used.
The reinforcement braces aren't available yet to do the repair. Mazda will send a letter in May to owners of affected vehicles that will inform them of the problem, and a second letter telling them when the parts will be ready. Scroll down to read the full recall press release.
Dealers think Mazda's new Mexico plant will increase Mazda3 sales by 20%
Mon, 27 Jan 2014Mazda3 sales in the US were down about 15 percent last year to a total of 104,713 units. According to a report from Automotive News, though, the slowdown in sales has been due more to production constraints than demand.
Good news for Mazda dealers, then, that a new plant in Salamanca, Mexico has just come online. Tom Carey, chairman of Mazda's national dealer council, told AN, "We're going to be in good shape because of that Mexico inventory." If estimates prove accurate, sales of the Mazda3 will increase by about 20 percent when the new plant begins production this month.
If those lofty projections come to pass, Mazda will reportedly be on track to exceed 300,000 total sales in the US in 2014, which would represent the brand's highest figures since its 375,000-unit peak in 1994. The brand hopes to sell more than 400,000 vehicles in the US by 2016, and with well-received products like the latest 3 and Mazda6 sedan, such expectations seem quite possible.
