2011 Mazda 3 S Wrecked Damaged Salvage Repairable Rebuildable 2.5 34195 Miles on 2040-cars
Muscadine, Alabama, United States
2011 Mazda 3S 2.5 Liter engine with automatic transmission. This car only has 34,195 miles on it. It runs and drives great. It is well equipped with power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, cold air conditioning, keyless entry, and alloy wheels with good tires. Comes with one key and remote. It does have factory floor mats and all owners manuals. The interior is very clean and good condition no tears or holes. Now for the bad. This car was involved in a rear end collision and will need the following arts to repair......Right rear quarter panel, rear body panel, right rocker molding, right outer tail light, and rear bumper cover. It has repairable damage on the right rear door. Right front fender has repairable dent below side of headlight. Some light scuffs on the front bumper. This car does run and lot drive. It does have an ALABAMA SALVAGE TITLE which should be rebuildable in all states. But please know your state laws before bidding. I stated lot drive only because of the salvage title. There is no other reason this car would not drive home. I bought this car from USAA insurance. I bought it to resell. I do not have an estimate to repair. This car does not have any blown airbags. Does not appear to have any suspension or frame rail damage. I have tried to list everything damaged on this car and show all damage in pictures, But with any damaged vehicle some things could be over looked. You are welcome and encouraged to come by and inspect. I do have for sale locally and do reserve the right to end early. Please view my feedback and email any questions. Thank you for viewing my auctions! |

Fiat reconsidering Mazda-based Alfa Romeo roadster? [w/poll]
Mon, 03 Mar 2014Alfa giveth and Alfa taketh away. With apologies to Job (he has gone through a lot, after all), that's how things are looking at the Italian automaker - whether it's the promise of new products or its impending return to the North American market. But it's especially true when it comes to new roadsters.
While Alfa Romeo is expected to unveil the 4C Spider at the Geneva Motor Show this week, reports are now suggesting that its other roadster project is being called into question. That project is a joint venture between Fiat and Mazda, which was set to produce a version of its next MX-5 Miata as an Alfa Romeo, and was even changing the design to accommodate Alfa's requirements.
Now it appears, however, that the whole project in doubt. The problem seems to stem from Sergio Marchionne's pronouncements that, as long as he's in charge, there won't be an Alfa Romeo built outside of Italy.
2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata will rock 2.0L SkyActiv engine in US, 1.5L elsewhere
Wed, 01 Oct 2014Let the speculation finally end - we know what will power the next-generation 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata, and it's not turbocharged. The US model will get a SkyActiv 2.0-liter engine and six-speed manual, while models in the rest of the world have a 1.5-liter engine, confirming earlier rumors.
Unfortunately, Mazda isn't letting loose how much power either of these mills make just yet. For sake of comparison, the current SkyActiv 2.0 in the Mazda3 produces 155 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque, and the 1.5-liter in the UK (and elsewhere) has about 99 hp and 110 lb-ft of twist. However, the current Miata produces 167 hp and 140 lb-ft.
But fret not droptop fans. The company's brochure from the 2014 Paris Motor Show confirms, "all available drivetrains have been specially tuned for the all-new MX-5," which at least hints at the possibility of more performance. Also, even if the numbers remain untouched, the new Miata should feel even more sporting on the open road. That's because Mazda says the new model weighs in the neighborhood of 2,200 pounds; with that in mind, the 2016 car would boast around 14.19 pounds per horsepower versus 14.85 lb/hp in the present MX-5. Progress!
Mazda Hazumi Concept shows up ahead of Geneva
Tue, 25 Feb 2014Last week, Mazda officially teased its Geneva-bound Hazumi concept, showing little more than an aggressive headlamp design. But now, thanks to the magic of the Internet, another rendering of the Hazumi has appeared on the web, and, well, it's totes adorbs.
In Mazda's original release from last week, we were told that the name "Hazumi" means "spring up" or "bound" in Japanese, and is "particularly well-suited to a small car that appears to be bursting with energy." And now that we're getting a nearly full glimpse of the thing, we absolutely have to agree. The company's Kodo design language offers aggressive style in a cute little shape, and the usual raft of concept car-spec treatments (no mirrors, huge wheels, etc.) make it look even more comical and delightful.
Indeed, the Hazumi is understood to preview the next Mazda2 subcompact, and if this concept car points the way forward for Mazda's tiniest hatch, consider us totally geeked. Mazda is also set to debut its new 1.5-liter Skyactiv-D diesel engine at the Geneva Motor Show next week, and while the company hasn't confirmed if that powerplant will make its way into the next Mazda2, it sure makes sense, at least overseas. Stay tuned.
