This is a 1972 Mercedes 250 what you call a barn find. It sat for 20 years or so in a shed but started right up when a battery was put in it. All of the writing stamped on the engine requires a translator to figure out as it is all in german. Ok What I know about it, it runs, it needs a fuel return line fixed (it leaks at the tank end), needs a tune up, (The spark plug wires are not very good), I have already had the carbs apart and cleaned all of the gunk out of them. It has a few small rust throughs on the body (as seen in photos) so it needs some love but it will be a nice car for someone with a few bucks to put in it.I just don't have it right now and need to have it for other projects. I will sell this car to anyone that lives anywhere but you have to come to Brunswick Georgia USA, to get it. I put clear title in the listing because it is old enough you don't need a title here to sell it. A lot of the original paperwork as well as the original owners title is here as well. We also accept cash in hand on car transactions. Thanks for looking and ask all the questions you like, I will post them and the answers here. The mileage listed is incorrect. I will get it on here as soon as I can look at it and see what it is.

Chris Harris and David Coulthard wring out a Mercedes Fintail at the N"urburgring
Thu, 17 Oct 2013If there's one thing we've learned from the latest video from Drive, it's that the combination of Chris Harris and David Coulthard will produce some very quotable moments. Take this exchange, for example.
DC: "We are by some way the slowest."
CH: "But we're in a class of three cars, apparently."
Mercedes-Benz to build new ML coupe-crossover in Alabama in 2015
Fri, 05 Sep 2014Mercedes-Benz will expand its factory in Tuscaloosa, AL, to build the ML Coupe, a new crossover that will join its lineup in 2015. Mercedes will also ramp up production to build facelifted versions of the M-Class and GL-Class SUVs, lifting the factory's total production capacity to about 300,000 units annually in 2015. It made 185,000 vehicles in 2013. In addition to SUVs, the Tuscaloosa site also makes the C-Class sedan.
The plans come as part of Mercedes' strategy to capitalize on Americans' increasing demands for SUVs. The company said the SUV market was up 12 percent in first half of 2014, and expects it to grow at twice the rate of the regular market in 2015 and 2016.
"We are seeing climbing demand for SUVs." - Dieter Zetsche
Mercedes A45 AMG in downhill battle with slipstream skateboarder
Mon, 30 Sep 2013We're told it takes "performance, control and expression" to pilot a longboard skateboard down a mountain road, and that those happen to be the same values embodied in the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG. That's how the two came to be combined in a black-and-white short film called Silver Slipstream.
There's no talking, no engine note and no color, just some music, a 'boarder and a car on a long cruise down the Franschhoek Pass in the Western Cape of South Africa." Despite that, it's actually a pretty entertaining video of the latest Mercedes-Benz hot hatch married with extreme sports. You can watch how it all goes down in the video below.
