My name is Brennon Todt. I have never sold a vehicle on Ebay, so let me tell you how I got this car and why I'm selling it.

I own a small roofing business. In April of this year I was doing a roof for an elderly couple that own a historic home in my town, Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Because the work was for the historic foundation we donated most of the labor and the owners of the home asked if we could trade out something to cover the cost of the materials. I asked them what they might have in mind to trade. They took me to their garage and showed me this car. I really didn't know what to think at first because I don't know a lot about cars. It was sitting with 4 flat tires and had about 100 old newspapers resting all over the top, hood, and trunk. I opened the door and looked inside, it was in mint condition. I asked about the story of the car and they said it belonged to the mother of the elderly woman, and she last drove it in 1995. When she was put in the nursing home they parked the car in that garage and it had been there ever since. Even the license plate is from 1995! Other than being really dusty, the car was beautiful. It had two tiny rust spots and one dent in the front passenger side that was also pretty small (about the size of a golf ball or smaller even). I took the car and filled up the tires, which are original. the car has 59,750 miles on it. I trailered it (it did not run obviously after being parked for nearly 20 years) to my mechanic who spent a couple of weeks cleaning it out and got her running good. I have documentation for all the work done by Seyer's Garage here in Cape Girardeau, MO. She runs great, I took her out for a cruise today and got her up to 70 mph and she did just fine. The car is very tight and clean, everything is original as far as I can tell. The horn does not work, and they told me about that at Seyers but I didn't want to put a switch on the dash if it wasn't original. So that is something that the new owner will need to fix for it to pass inspection. The car is not going to blow anyone's doors off, it is more of a Sunday cruise kind of car, but anyone interested probably already knows that. It is in immaculate shape, especially for its age.

I do not need the car, and I do not collect classic cars, so I figured I would sell it to cover my material costs, plus I want a new dump trailer. The car would be perfect for a collector. It does smoke when you first start it up (like most old diesels), and it takes a coupe cranks to get her started, but once she fires up she is good to go.
