this FANTASTIC 2-owner US-delivered Mercedes Benz 280-SE 3.5 Coupe.
This is a Texas car that's been very well-maintained for it's entire
life.
This coupe was repainted in the original Bronzebraun Metallic (461) to
a very high standard, the chrome appears to be untouched (maybe
polished) and in very good condition, but the interior is the real star
of this bad boy and it is EXCEPTIONAL! It appears to be completely
original (except for possibly the carpet) and is in wonderful
condition. The cognac leather is great, the headliner and carpet are
excellent. Most of the wood is excellent with the very light wear and
several hairline scratches or splits in the piece below the windshield.
The a/c blows cold, all electrics work, the original becker Europa
radio works, brakes are good, the car drives straight and the
transmission shifts like every other 280SE 3.5 that I've driven.

I had
this coupe inspected and serviced by my trusted Mercedes mechanic
and it's now ready for a new home. This is a very original car and not
restored, so it has some very quirky faults that are common to these
cars; the windows go up and down slowly and there is an occasional
squeak from the tach or odometer cable, but it is a super-suf and
super-soolc cruiser. I've easily driven this car approximately 1,000
miles since I've
owned it and that's actually a lot for me.
Although this car is exempt from an actual/factual odometer disclosure,
we believe from experience fothese cars and what we were told by the
previous owner that the mileage is in fact 102,2xx miles.

EVO has come out with another gotta-watch-it video, throwing its 2012 Car of the Year contestants around the UK's 1.5-mile Blyton Park track. It's actually a 15-minute teaser for the full-length DVD detailing the magazine's Car of the Year selection, but the tease is worth every penny free second.
Tiff Needell and sports car racer Richard Meaden handle the wheel duties, the two driving five pairs of sports cars: Lotus Exige S vs. Porsche Boxster S, Morgan Three-Wheeler vs. Toyota GT86, BMW M135i vs. Porsche 911, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series vs. Alpina B3 GT3, the marquee event pits the McLaren MP4-12C vs. the Pagani Huayra. After a head-to-head lap with commentary during drifts, Meaden takes each car out to set a representative lap time.

It's been more than a year since we first saw the 2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK250 Bluetec unveiled at the 2012 New York Auto Show, but it looks like the compact diesel crossover is finally starting to roll into dealerships. Those wanting to buy a diesel GLK will only have to pony up an extra $1,500 over a base, gas-powered GLK350, as the GLK250's starting price is listed at $38,590 (*not including $905 destination charge).
The turbocharged 2.1-liter four-cylinder diesel produces 200 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, and Mercedes-Benz has also provided some fuel economy numbers for this model, with claimed EPA estimates of 24 miles per gallon city and 33 mpg highway. There is no listing for the GLK250 on the EPA's website yet, but the figures represent significant increase over the GLK350's lackluster 19 mpg city and 25 mpg highway figures, which are for the rear-wheel drive model. The GLK250 comes standard with the 4Matic all-wheel-drive system - a $2,000 option on GLK350 - meaning that if you want an all-wheel-drive version of the 2013 GLK, it's actually cheaper to opt for the diesel model. After an argument with his adoptive parents that resulted in them taking away his mobile phone, an angry 13-year-old boy ran away from his home in Italy and headed straight to Poland to meet his biological sister. But instead of taking the train or hitching a ride, like most on the run, the young man (an accomplished go-kart racer and car enthusiast) grabbed the keys to his father's Mercedes-Benz and jumped behind the wheel for an impromptu road trip.
With less than 200 euros (about $270) in his wallet and a passport in his pocket, the youngster managed to put more than 500 miles between himself and his distraught parents, crossing two international borders in the process, before German police nabbed him just shy of the Polish border. According to reports, the vehicle was tracked - it wasn't his driving that alerted authorities to his location.
Reunited with his mother and father, who traveled to Germany to retrieve both their son and the vehicle, the young man apologized and acknowledged his error. As a result of his actions, social workers will increase checks on the family and we can be sure his parents are now hiding the keys.
