POWER EVERYTHING, ZEBRANO WOOD TRIM, POWER LEATHER HEATED SEATS - LIKE FINE LIVING ROOM FURNITURE,  VERY ECONOMICAL AND RELIABLE 6 CYLINDER DIESEL ENGINE (FACTORY REBUILT MOTOR INSTALLED AT MERCEDES DEALER AT 112K MILES $8K COSTS AND I HAVE THE PAPERWORK), BOSE PREMIUM SOUND, FULLY INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION AT AL FOUR CORNERS, CLIMATE CONTROL, RECENTLY REPLACED BRAKES AND ROTORS, GLOW PLUGS, WATER PUMP AND SERPENTINE BELT, AUTO LEVELING REAR SUSPENSION, AND THE RARE LIMITED SLIP REAR END, AND MORE…

168,500 MILES

The drivetrain is  exceptional – runs very strong, transmission shifts like new.

.The engine compartment is very clean and free of any leaks.

The undercarriage is dry and rust free.

The suspension is in excellent condition and handling is fantastic. All the power options work properly and the climate control blows both cold and hot air. This is a large and zero noise luxury car.  Every piece of glass is double pane.  All the factory underbody panels are there (I bought the missing ones from MB)

Always maintained with strictly MB parts.

The leather Interior was refreshed front and back with OEM leathers that I had shipped from Germany and Installed at the MB dealer 2 years ago.  The inside is like new and the leather surfaces are soft and supple.

The exterior is in Great condition  no dents or scratches, minor touched-up chips and a few small dings. (Please check all pictures)

The body is excellent with even body lines and smooth panels. Both the body and undercarriage are free of any visible rust. All windows are free of any cracks or chips.   All body panels are sheet metal and in excellent condition.  Paint is good to fair with some weathering of the factory clear coat showing on the right rear quarter panel.

The leather seats are in excellent condition and show virtually no wear. Headliner and Carpet are very clean with no any stains. Mercedes OEM floor mats. The car is loaded with great options you would expect from a luxury car including, in fact, this car set the standard for most of the luxury options high end cars of today are available with.

This is a truly unique opportunity to own a great vehicle!  It also gets very respectable fuel economy averaging 30-35MPG on the highway.  The car has tremendous range and I have driven it from PA to Georgia on a single tank of fuel.

I can help with shipping but all arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer to Pickup or arrange for  pickup of the vehicle.

Maybach could become Mercedes-Benz sub-brand

Wed, 22 Jun 2011

When you're arriving in a twin-turbocharged, twelve-cylinder Maybach limo, there's no reason you should ever have to be late. Except, maybe, to make a fashionable entrance. But up at the corporate level, the entire Maybach brand is being slowed down as critical decisions about its future are being undertaken.
Last week, we reported that a decision on what path Maybach would take going forward would be due at the start of next month, but the latest reports indicate that the timeframe has been extended as further options are being considered.
The previous options under consideration were twofold: either relaunch the brand with production outsourced to Aston Martin - which suddenly finds itself with excess production capacity - or shut it down completely. And those are still two very real options. Word has it that Aston has put together four concept cars for the Daimler brass to consider, all based on the next-generation S-Class platform (and thankfully not the old one).

Next Mercedes-Benz C-Class spotted in the snow

Mon, 11 Mar 2013

The entry-level Mercedes-Benz C-Class has long felt like nothing more than, well, just that. Aside from the potent and delicious C63 AMG models, there hasn't been much to set the C-Class apart in the entry-level luxury/sport segment, leading to the model being regarded by many as "The Cheap Mercedes." No, it's certainly not a bad car, but for our money, it hasn't stood up particularly well to competitors like the BMW 3 Series or Audi A4.
So with the handsome new CLA-Class coming to round off the entry-level end for Mercedes-Benz, big plans are in store for the C-Class. We can see some evidence of that in this latest set of spy shots from our friends at CarPix. According to earlier reports, the new C-Class will be "far more dramatic" in the visuals department, and while the sedan's sculpting is still covered by camo, the much sleeker headlamp design we see here is, at the very least, a good start. The car's overall size is expected to grow a bit to further distance itself from the CLA, though thanks to lightweight materials, curb weight isn't expected to increase.
Just like the current model, the new C-Class is expected to use four- and six-cylinder engines, both gas- and diesel-fed, and overall power output for the global engine range should span from 120-ish on the low end to as much as 330. These new engines are expected to be mounted lower and farther rearward than before, offering better balance for both rear- and 4Matic all-wheel drive configurations. And as for that AMG? Rumors suggest a turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 will fall underhood.

First official shot of Mercedes S-Class Coupe leaks out

Mon, 10 Feb 2014

With the official debut for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe expected tomorrow, it shouldn't be a surprise that some clicky fingers have already managed to uncover an official image of the car before the unveiling. Outside of this sole image, though, there's precious little detail on the new car.
First posted by Autofilou and then picked up by WorldCarFans, the production S-Class Coupe isn't far off from the concept car we saw a few months back in Frankfurt. Like the concept, the leggy production model appears related, albeit distantly, to the S-Class Sedan. The hood and front fascia are longer and lower, befitting of a two-door, while the character lines in the profile are more pronounced. Obviously, the beltline and slim, B-pillarless greenhouse are coupe-only items. We can't see any details on the back of the car, although it does appear that the long hood has a correspondingly short rear deck.
We'll have all the details on the official replacement for the CL-Class when it makes its full debut tomorrow. Until then, what do you think of this lone image? Does it appear that Mercedes has got it right? In terms of design, where would you rank this with the departing CL-Class? Have your say in Comments.
