The car has the following options: 93,557 ACTUAL MILES! 4.5L V-8/Automatic Transmission Power Steering and Brakes AM/FM/Cassette Stereo Leather Interior Graphic Equalizer Air Conditioning Tilt Wheel Power Windows & Locks This car was manufactured in Germany back in 1977 and brought into the USA for sale. This beautiful car doesn’t drive much differently than when it was new. It runs extremely well. If you’re looking for that unique car to keep in your garage for special occasions or perhaps, to go to car shows, this Mercedes is one fine automobile. We believe all options in the car are in working condition. The radio is aftermarket and there is a nice equalizer in the glove box. They are definitely upgrades from what was installed in 1977. It’s wintertime in Cleveland, so we have not tested the air conditioning. We think it works, but cannot guarantee it. The title will read “actual miles” and is clean. This was basically a one-owner car for most of its life and was meticulously maintained! As you’ll see in the Photobucket pics, we have all of the manuals. The car has a lot of new parts and is ready to be driven daily or like I mentioned earlier, used for those special occasions. Maybach officially discontinues all models for 2013
Tue, 14 Aug 2012The word "Maybach" has joined the long list of synonyms for the word "kaput." Mercedes-Benz released the price list for the 2013 models of its super-luxury sedans, with the price column simply stating "Discontinued" for each one of them.
The 2012 models, should there be any left for 11th-hour buyers, maintain the increased MSRPs that Daimler slapped on them late last year after it was known the brand would be terminated next year. But you might still be able to wrangle that $100,000 rebate if you ask nicely, or in Russian, or have Rick Ross ask for you.
It shouldn't be too long before we see the ultimate version of the next generation S-Class, the S600 Pullman, that will replace Maybach. Intriguingly, it's said the Pullman will be offered with every S-Class engine, even the four-cylinder diesel.
Mercedes Concept GLA45 AMG is ready to run
Wed, 20 Nov 2013This is the Mercedes-Benz Concept GLA45 AMG, and what we mean by that is, "This is the Mercedes-Benz GLA45 AMG." Mercedes has just unveiled the liveried 'concept' at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, giving potential customers a very good look at the newest lunatic in the AMG asylum - a 355-horsepower, 332-pound-foot crossover that uses the same 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine found in the CLA45 AMG and Europe's A45 AMG.
Joined with a seven-speed, AMG Speedshift dual-clutch transmission and an AMG Performance 4Matic all-wheel-drive system, Mercedes promises a sub-five-second run to 60 miles per hour. That's not just quick for a crossover, that's quick full stop.
That sleek, lifted body has also been tweaked by the minds at AMG's Affalterbach facility. A new rear spoiler, side sills and front clip are the primary aerodynamic tweaks. Aesthetically, AMG has fitted the requisite "Turbo" badges, gloss-black accents (including exhaust tips and roof rails) and a set of 21-inch, AMG-spec alloy wheels to round out the overall package. Based on the spy shots we've seen, expect slightly toned down aerodynamics when the GLA45 AMG arrives in showrooms.
Missouri Mercedes dealer offering free Smart with every SLS AMG purchase
Wed, 05 Dec 2012The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT is an exquisite sports car that probably needs no help flying off dealer lots, even with a starting price of almost $200,000, but Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City has come up with an interesting incentive to sweeten the deal. For buyers who purchase a new SLS AMG from dealer stock before the end of the year, the dealership is throwing in a new Smart Fortwo from its inventory at no charge... with a required coupon no less.
In addition to being a great tactic to get a little free press, the spare car also makes sense as an alternative to the SLS, which measures more than 15-feet long - almost twice the length of a Fortwo - and has a 563-horsepower engine that sucks down gas at the rate of 13 miles per gallon in city driving (and even that's provided you don't give in to the devil on your shoulder). Plus, at the end of the day, this really isn't that big of an incentive. Being given a slow-selling $12,490 car for the purchase of a model starting at $199,500 represents about a six percent incentive, which is along the lines of a $1,900 rebate for a $30,000 car.
