In August of 2012 we replaced the Brake Master Cylinder (at 63,808 miles)

In April of 2013 we replaced the Power Steering supply hose (tank to pump), P/S Reservoir Gaskets (64,689 miles)

In June 2013 We replaced the Radiator, and Thermostat. We also did a minor service which included the Fuel Filter, Oil Filter Kit, and replenished the system with Synthetic Oil all which was just done at 65,701 miles.

The Brakes are still in very good condition.

We have service records back to 2000. Most of work was done at the Mercedes Dealership.

The SL has a clean CARFAX. First 5 years it lived in Portland, OR. In 1995 (6,345 miles) she lived in Idaho then in 2000 (14,877 miles) she came back home to Oregon. Since then she has been in the Medford Area and regularly serviced at Mercedes Benz of Medford.

I have CARFAX report ready to email you. You will see this was regularly serviced. This was not just sleeping in a garage its whole life. Well oiled machine!

Yes...The Soft Top is in excellent condition. It opens and closes how it should.

The paint is fantastic! I have close ups shots ready to email you.

The original phone has been removed to allow more storage space. This has the Factory Muli Disc in trunk and the Multi Cassette organizer.

The Air Conditioning is working. Cruise control works. Power Windows Work. The Tires are in great shape and the tread is very good. Clock is working.

Race Recap: Singapore Grand Prix is about a safety car and submission

The Singapore Formula One Grand Prix is the Monaco GP of the Orient - a weekend known more for its glamour and time-slot than on-track action, with a temporary circuit that punishes every mistake, usually terminally.
Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes-AMG Petronas got the best of Free Practice 1, opening the curtain on a possible resurgence of Silver Arrows performance. By the time qualifying was done, though, it was his teammate Nico Rosberg who lined up second on the grid, followed by Romain Grosjean with a beautiful performance in the Lotus, Mark Webber in the Infiniti Red Bull, and Hamilton all the way back in fifth. Behind them were Felipe Massa outqualifying Ferrari teammate Fernando Alonso, Jenson Button getting the McLaren into eighth, Daniel Ricciardo with another good Q3 effort to get into ninth, and the shocker of Esteban Gutiérrez getting his Sauber into the top ten for the first time this year.
At the front of the pack was Sebastian Vettel. Again. But he was only ahead of Rosberg by a single tenth of a second...

VW looking to MAN up, ditch Mercedes van deal

Unlike the US, the commercial truck market throughout the rest of the world is chocked full of competitors from many different automakers. Since 2006, Volkswagen has had a fullsize van called the Crafter that was a result of a partnership with Daimler AG and based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. This partnership is supposed to last through 2016, but Reuters is reporting that VW might be looking to end its relationship with Daimler and create its own van in cooperation with German truck and bus maker MAN.
The article says that VW AG has more than a 75-percent stake in MAN, which would essentially be keeping the new commercial vehicle in-house. Even if VW bolts, Daimler still has a deal worked out in the commercial truck industry between its subsidiary Mitsubishi Fuso and Renault-Nissan to supply the other with different trucks.

Next Mercedes-Benz C-Class to get diesel, hybrid versions

Mercedes-Benz is planning a more aggressive product strategy for its next-generation C-Class range. "We were fighting the 3 Series with two arms tied behind our back, and now we will change that," Steve Cannon, the automaker's US CEO, told Automotive News in a recent interview.
In addition to offering more body styles of the new C-Class, AN reports that the revamped Mercedes will also be offered here with hybrid and diesel powertrains. Currently, the C-Class comes in coupe and sedan variants, with only gasoline engines. The BMW 3 Series, however, is available as a sedan, coupe, convertible and wagon, and offers buyers the choice of gasoline, diesel (the upcoming 328d) or hybrid power.
Mercedes-Benz will show the next-generation C-Class at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, with sales of the US-built sedan following in August. Coupe, convertible and hybrid models will follow in early 2015, and while diesel and all-wheel-drive versions are planned, no specific timetable has been released regarding availability.
