I M SELLING A 2009 MERCEDES BENZ CLK 350 GRAND EDITION. THE CAR WAS IN A FLOOD AND DOES NOT START I DONT HAVE THE KEY . PAPERWORK SHOWS THE CAR HAVING 38,025 ORIGINAL MILES ON IT. ITS A REALLY NICE PEARL WHITE CONVERTIBLE CAR WITH HEATED LEATHER SEATS, CD PLAYER, NAVIGATION RADIO, ALL THE SAFETY FEATURES, AND POWER OPTIONS. THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT CAR . IT WILL NEED ELECTRICAL REPAIR. THERE IS NO KEY FOR THE CAR. THERE ARE MINOR SCRATCHES, PAINT IS CHIPPING ON THE FRONT AND REAR BUMPER COVERS,THE BOTTOM OF THE FRONT BUMPER COVER IS DAMAGED, AND THE RIGHT TAILIGHT IS BROKEN. Mercedes AMG and Cigarette Racing debut 2,220-HP electric motor boat
Thu, 14 Feb 2013Take the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG E-Cell, stretch it and take off the wheels then make it float and you've basically got the just-unveiled Cigarette AMG Electric Drive Concept. Powered by an all-electric powertrain that offers 2,200 horsepower and 2,213 pound-feet of torque (and uses "numerous components" taken from the not-quite-as-yellow SLS AMG Coupé Electric Drive), the sleek concept is being called the "world's most powerful electric drive powerboat." What that means is a top speed of over 100 miles per hour from four 60-kWh lithium-ion batteries and two banks of six liquid-cooled, permanent-magnet synchronous electric motors. And the 240 kWh of total energy should provide plenty of juice out on the water.
Launched (but not literally) at the Miami International Boat Show today, the Cigarette AMG Electric Drive Concept is the result of a partnership between Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing. The boat is 38 feet long (much longer than the 15-foot SLS) and is plastered with AMG branding on the sides and top of the bow above the matte chrome yellow paint (officially called AMG Electricbeam mango). Two 220-kW chargers can refill the batteries, dockside, in about seven hours.
The idea of a powerful electric boat is nothing new (Henrik Fisker talked about a plug-in hybrid watercraft late last year), but this is the first time we've seen Mercedes put its EV technology on the water. Race Recap: 2013 Japanese Grand Prix flips several scripts [spoilers]
Mon, 14 Oct 2013Japan's Suzuka circuit is a great track that all the drivers love, but it doesn't usually provide the most thrilling, head-to-head racing. Where it does excel, however, is with surprises and "What just happened there?!" moments, and this year it was no different.
It started with Mark Webber in his Infiniti Red Bull Racing out-qualifying his teammate Sebastian Vettel for the first time this year. They were followed closely by Lewis Hamilton in the first Mercedes-AMG Petronas, the still-solid Romain Grosjean again outdoing teammate Kimi Räikkönen, Felipe Massa racing for another seat in Formula One and putting his Ferrari in fifth, then Nico Rosberg in the second Mercedes, Nico Hülkenberg in the first Sauber, Fernando Alonso in the second Ferrari, and Räikkönen continuing to do himself no favors by qualifying tenth.
For the second year in a row, the lights going out was the cue to start the first corner action...
EVO "2012 Car of the Year: The Track Battles" is a sports car salmagundi

It's actually a 15-minute teaser for the full-length DVD detailing the magazine's Car of the Year selection, but the tease is worth every penny free second.
Tiff Needell and sports car racer Richard Meaden handle the wheel duties, the two driving five pairs of sports cars: Lotus Exige S vs. Porsche Boxster S, Morgan Three-Wheeler vs. Toyota GT86, BMW M135i vs. Porsche 911, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series vs. Alpina B3 GT3, the marquee event pits the McLaren MP4-12C vs. the Pagani Huayra. After a head-to-head lap with commentary during drifts, Meaden takes each car out to set a representative lap time.
