2006 Mercedes E55 AMG "Hammer". If you are viewing this listing then you already know that the 2006 E55 is a supercar and it is one of the fastest production sedans Mercedes ever made. From the factory these cars have 469hp and every comfort option you could ask for. This E55 has the Rentech stage 4 power upgrade that brings the power up to 620hp. This E55 also has Vossen 19" wheels and Falken tires. The front tires are new and the rears are about 80%. New batteries in both front and rear. I had the car aligned when I put the new front tires on. The oil change and service was just done about 200 miles ago. New cabin air filter. New brake pads front and rear.
This car is a blast to drive!
Here is a list of factory options,
- Dynamic seats.
- Pulse massage seats
- Pano-roof
- Keyless-go
- I-pod connect
- Adaptive cruise control
- Auto trunk closer
- Rear shade
- Navigation
- Intergraded phone
- And I'm sure I forgot to list some.
I bought this car about two years ago from a dealership in Utah. The car is very clean but it does have a few small scratches that have been touched up here and there. They are barely noticeable but I feel it is best to be honest about the condition. There is also a very small dent over the left rear wheel. It is also hard to see in the pics. The wheel trim rings are made of stainless steel. There are a few small dents in the trim rings. Again, they are hard to see in the pics but I want to be upfront about any flaws.
Overall this is a very clean and well cared for car. All the service has been performed by either a Mercedes dealership of a qualified German car repair shop. I have all the records for the service and new items mentioned in the listing. It's a great car but it's time to sell it as I need a new Denali 3500 to pull my trailer. I have the title in hand. Please call Russell if you have any questions at 317-557-6077

Mercedes working on new inline-six engines
Mon, 11 Nov 2013Mercedes-Benz will make a return to the inline-six-cylinder engine game, according to a report from the UK's AutoCar. It's not clear what's prompting the phasing out of the current array of V6s.
We'll see the first inline-six from Mercedes in next-generation E-Class, set to debut in 2016. Following that, it'll arrive as part of a mid-cycle refresh for the C-Class in 2017. What's particularly special about the new inline-six is its modular nature, which will allow Mercedes to eventually spinoff three- and four-cylinder options, with the three-pot arriving alongside the new inline-six.
In other news, AutoCar uncovered some details on the next C-Class AMG, which will ditch its excellent 6.2-liter, AMG V8 in favor of a 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8, although we've already told you about that. What we didn't know at the time, though, was that the 4.0-liter would be paired first with a new, seven-speed AMG Speedshift transmission and offer all-wheel drive. AC also reports that a nine-speed Speedshift is in the works.
Rare Isdera Imperator 108i flexes its considerable muscles
Mon, 05 Aug 2013The Isdera Imperator 108i is a remarkably rare supercar from the late 80s and early 90s. Born of a Mercedes-Benz concept car, it's powered by a range of AMG-developed V8s, with five to six liters of displacement, depending on the engine. The example shown here, lapping the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit, features the most potent 6.0-liter V8 available. And rather than just being driven about on a perfectly clean racing line, it's freaking power sliding!
Yes, there's something eternally childlike about a wedge-shaped supercar from our formative years being flung about a Belgian racetrack. Adding to the appeal is the Imperator's stumpy, periscopic rear mirror, sticking out of the roof. Even after being out of production for 20 years, this is still a wild, wild car and we'd happily snap up the opportunity pilot one of the 36 Isderas that were built. Take a look below for the full video from Spa.
Aston Martin signs Letter of Intent for technical partnership with AMG
Thu, 25 Jul 2013A little over two months ago came reports that Daimler and Aston Martin were in talks, again, about "supply and technical-cooperation agreements." The next step has been taken with Aston Martin announcing that it has signed a Letter of Intent that looks "towards a technical partnership" with Mercedes-AMG GmbH, and the two companies aiming to have definitive agreements done by year's end.
While it will get to use certain electric and electronic components from AMG, the true golden egg for the maker of the Vanquish will be the ability to develop a new line of "bespoke V8 powertrains" that will be fitted to "a new generation of models." In return for opening up the larder, Daimler will get a non-voting stake of up to five percent of Aston Martin.
Nothing else is being said about the tie-up for the moment, but there's a press release below with a few more details.
