2010 Mercedes-Benz E350 4MATIC (all wheel drive) Black exterior and Tan leather interior. Only 43,000 miles and still under factory warranty until 50,000 miles, the car is still being driven so the miles will vary. The tires are in great condition, all with less than 10,000 miles on then. The wheels are new, three of them are perfect and one I curbed, it’s the passenger rear wheel and tire, see pictures. The interior is in perfect condition, leather feels great and very clean. All the electronics work as they should, especially the heated seats, they work great. I’ve tried to show all the features of the car with the pictures, but there are a lot of features on this car!! The transmission paddle shifters are mounted on/behind the steering wheel. There is a Comfort/Sport button in the center console that changes the shift points and the stiffness of the suspension. I have just done the service on the car so it has fresh oil and filter, MOBIL 1 full synthetic as Mercedes-Benz recommends, next service is due at 52,000 miles. I’ve also just installed K&M air filters at 42,000 miles and they are lifetime warranty items. This car is in very good condition, but like any car, it has its blemishes. There are small rock chips and small imperfections in the paint from normal wear and tear.

UK workers strand car on island of asphalt to keep working

Generally speaking, when you illegally park your car, you're likely to get ticketed and towed, but there is probably at least one motorist in Scotland who wishes that was the case. After workers had blocked off a portion of the parking lot for the Edinburgh Waverley railway station, the driver of this Mercedes-Benz S-Class reportedly moved some of the barriers to park in one of the empty spots.
Rather than having the vehicle towed, the work crew simply tore up the asphalt around the leaving just the one parking spot intact, and as you can see in the image above (posted to the Twitter account of Harold Norstad), the crew even built a small asphalt ramp so the car could get off its blacktop pedestal. Since this happened last week, there's no word as to whether the car was eventually moved or towed for the resurfacing work to continue.
Let this be a warning...

Firing of M-B boss upheld

Ernst Lieb, the disgraced former CEO of American operations for Mercedes-Benz, will not be getting any more money from the Silver Arrow'd teat. His wrongful dismissal suit against MB's parent company, Daimler, was tossed out of a German appeals panel. This, followed the initial rejection by a lower court last year.
According to court documents acquired by Automotive News, Lieb was found to have "accepted payments of substantial value to which he - as he was aware - had no claim."
Lieb took over American operations from former CEO Paul Halata in September of 2006. Reports surfaced in October of 2011 that Lieb was dismissed from his posting at MB, with a variety of rumors swirling. Eventually, news broke that financial wrong doing was responsible for the German's firing.

The all-new 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, designated W222, is one of the most highly anticipated debuts of its model year. Every generation of the flagship sedan has broken new ground in technology and innovation for the entire industry, and the German automaker appears determined to raise the bar much further with its latest arrival as it promises to deliver "the best automobile in the world." Mercedes-Benz has just released nearly two dozen interior images of the new sedan, showing off style in design, craftsmanship in execution and pioneering advancements in technology.
Unlike all previous generations - the first S-Class officially arrived in 1972 - the 2014 model completely discards a traditional instrument cluster and replaces it with two high-resolution color displays in 8:3 format with a screen diagonal of 12.3 inches (the outgoing model's gauges were a mix of digital and analog). The left unit displays traditional analog gauges (digitally, of course) while the right unit is reserved for infotainment and comfort settings with the automaker's all-new mBrace2 - a cloud-based entertainment and information delivery system that is rolling out this year.
