Orlando, Florida, United States

Here is my beautiful 2010 Mercedes Benz E350 with approximately 41k miles and  a full Certified Pre-Owned warranty until December 17, 2014. It is a two-owner Florida car with a clean Carfax history, and is in excellent condition in and out.

Mechanical:
All service has been completed at Mercedes Benz of Orlando and is up-to-date. The most recent service was for $400 in June, and included several items prescribed in the manual at 40k miles, and also included a full inspection. No mechanical issues at all. All service and warranty information can be independently verified by calling Mercedes Benz of Orlando at (407)680-0784 by providing the VIN number.

Exterior:
Excellent cosmetic condition. No dings, dents or scratches are visible, and the paint is glossy. The only minor flaws are small curb rash on two wheels, and minor scuffs underneath the front nose of the car - which are not visible unless you get under the car. I have included pictures of these for reference.

Interior:
Nearly flawless. The only hint wear that I could find is on the steering wheel, but that is being very picky :). Everything else is flawless. The car has navigation, satellite radio, bluetooth, backup camera, and many many other features..

Overall, the car needs absolutely nothing. Plus you get the peace of mind of a CPO warranty.

All books and records are included. The car also comes with 3 sets of keys, first aid kit, etc..

I have the price set reasonably. Attached are photos of a Carmax wholesale appraisal, as well as a Kelly Blue Book assessment for reference.

Please, serious bidders only. If you require financing, please have it lined-up prior to bidding. And I will be happy to assist in coordinating shipping with you if that is required. If you haven't used them, Uship.com can be a valuable shipping resource. I have used them on multiple occasions with good results.

Note that I may end the listing early since I have it listed locally as well.

Trades may also be considered. Feel free to call or text Sam at (407)921-8029 with any questions. Thanks!

2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA priced from $31,300*

Mon, 28 Jul 2014

Mercedes-Benz has kindly let loose the price of the 2015 GLA-Class, telling Autoblog.com that the base 208-horsepower GLA250 in two-wheel drive will go for $31,300 *not including a destination charge of $925. That makes for $32,225 in total to get one off the lot, a price predicted as early as last year and in our recent First Drive. The other two available models can push power to all four wheels, and after the destination fee is applied the GLA240 4Matic (pictured) will be $34,225 while the 355-horsepower GLA45 AMG will change lives and wallets to the tune of $49,225.
On the base scale, that puts the GLA250 just a few hundred dollar bills above the more powerful, rear-wheel drive BMW X1 and a stack of hundreds below the less powerful, front-wheel drive Audi Q3. If you're keeping in-house score, the GLA250 comes in at $1,400 above its sedan platform-mate with the same engine, the CLA250. At the high end, however, the competition doesn't have anything that can touch the AMG trim. Not that it should matter all that much - Mercedes needed something to keep these buyers in the family, and now they have it. If any of them should need even more power and more money spent, then there's always that 394-hp Brabus flavor. We'll have more info and details on each trim when Mercedes unleashes the shebang in the not-too-distant future.

Firing of M-B boss upheld

Mon, 15 Jul 2013

Ernst Lieb, the disgraced former CEO of American operations for Mercedes-Benz, will not be getting any more money from the Silver Arrow'd teat. His wrongful dismissal suit against MB's parent company, Daimler, was tossed out of a German appeals panel. This, followed the initial rejection by a lower court last year.
According to court documents acquired by Automotive News, Lieb was found to have "accepted payments of substantial value to which he - as he was aware - had no claim."
Lieb took over American operations from former CEO Paul Halata in September of 2006. Reports surfaced in October of 2011 that Lieb was dismissed from his posting at MB, with a variety of rumors swirling. Eventually, news broke that financial wrong doing was responsible for the German's firing.

Consumer Reports selling its road-tested roadsters [w/video]

Thu, 31 Jan 2013

Here's a chance to acquire a celebrity-owned vehicles, and this time at a discount instead of a premium. So the celebrity in this case is Consumer Reports, that magazine that could be equally adored and abhored by car enthusiasts. CR buys all of its test vehicles and usually finds willing second owners within its own ranks, but its opening its small used-car lot to the public. On the forecourt are four roadsters: an automatic 2012 Audi TT 2.0 TFSI Quattro S-Tronic with 6,600 miles for $36,500, a manual 2012 BMW Z4 sDrive28i with 8,400 miles for $45,000, a manual 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK250 for $39,500 and a manual 2013 Porsche Boxster with 7,000 miles for $48,000.
Those numbers mean a savings of $9,000 to $10,000 before haggling - each car is listed with an "Asking price" so there could be some wiggle room if you show up with pockets full of dough and eyes full of serious intent. Since the money CR earns from the sales go back into the magazine's budget to buy more test cars, however, it probably won't take any oddball trades, so you can forget about getting any purchasing help from that track-day AMC Javelin project on blocks in the back yard.
The vehicles have been taken care of and spiffed up for sale; buyers will take delivery at the CR test track in East Haddam, Connecticut and get a tour of the facilities. While you're there they'll even take you on a lap around the track so you can feel how your car handles when driven by one of its testers. They will probably not help you with advice on which toaster and dehumidifier to buy - you'll still need to get a subscription for that. Have a look at the video below to see a day in the life of a CR test car.
