Very Clean 2005 E320 4-Matic Mercedes-Benz
Car looks & drives like new. No squeeks, rattles, etc... Car has 120,900 highway miles. Was owned by a person in law enforcement
Car is loaded with all of the luxury & comfort you expect from a Mercedes. All options work properly. Tires, all switches & seats, etc... look new. Only signs of wear are where the seatbelts hit by the door when released (common issue, easily fixed with new material)
I acquired the vehicle from the largest Ford/ Dodge dealership in Central Iowa. It was traded in on a new vehicle. I have been doing business with this dealership for years & always get the highest quality vehicles
A co-worker was searching for a nice E-Series, & I found this one after searching for over a month. I was assured the person was pre-approved, but after purchasing the vehicle, he was unable to obtain financing. I am, therefore, stuck with a very nice Mercedes which I can't really afford to keep
Reserve is set low & am willing to end the auction early if am able to come to terms with a buyer. I don't believe in making someone wait if we can agree on a price. Vehicle is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early
** If a bidder has been registered less than 60 days, or has less than 10 feedback, you will need to contact me or I will cancel the bid. I'm tired of getting burned by non-payers & eBay doesn't seem to care because they get the listing fee regardless of whether or not the high bidder pays **
** feel free to call/ text (515) 783-7077, or email any questions or offers. Many more pics available **

Mercedes making aggressive plans for Chinese market
Wed, 28 Aug 2013Mercedes-Benz is preparing a major product offensive to counteract lagging sales in the Chinese market, aiming 20 new or updated models at the People's Republic in the next two years, according to a report by Reuters. The plan is part of MB's so-called 2020 Initiative, which will see the Stuttgart-based manufacturer dump 2 billion Euros ($2.67 billion) into its Chinese market vehicles in a bid to boost sales to 300,000 units by 2015.
Were it to succeed, China would become the largest market for the Silver Arrow, outpacing Germany and the United States. Leading the charge will be the redesigned E-Class, which is set to launch in China this week. That will quickly be followed by the S-Class, and eventually by the GLA-Class in 2014.
Mercedes has struggled in China, especially relative to its German competition, BMW and Audi. Where Mercedes saw a mere four-percent increase in 2012 sales to 206,150 units, Audi was up a staggering 32 percent, while BMW's numbers jumped 41 percent. While some voices, according to Reuters, accuse Munich and Ingolstadt of boosting their numbers through hefty incentives, the fact remains that Mercedes was just walloped by its competitors last year.
Next Mercedes-Benz C-Class to get diesel, hybrid versions
Tue, 16 Apr 2013Mercedes-Benz is planning a more aggressive product strategy for its next-generation C-Class range. "We were fighting the 3 Series with two arms tied behind our back, and now we will change that," Steve Cannon, the automaker's US CEO, told Automotive News in a recent interview.
In addition to offering more body styles of the new C-Class, AN reports that the revamped Mercedes will also be offered here with hybrid and diesel powertrains. Currently, the C-Class comes in coupe and sedan variants, with only gasoline engines. The BMW 3 Series, however, is available as a sedan, coupe, convertible and wagon, and offers buyers the choice of gasoline, diesel (the upcoming 328d) or hybrid power.
Mercedes-Benz will show the next-generation C-Class at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, with sales of the US-built sedan following in August. Coupe, convertible and hybrid models will follow in early 2015, and while diesel and all-wheel-drive versions are planned, no specific timetable has been released regarding availability.
Mercedes testing C-Class plug-in hybrid modes in Germany
Wed, 07 May 2014Testing appears to be underway for what would be the first Mercedes-Benz C-Class with a hybrid powertrain. We can see a pair of the prototypes undergoing testing in Germany, with one, a C-Class Wagon, still heavily clad in camouflage and featuring a more noticeable outlet on the passenger side of its rear bumper.
There's also a more production-looking sedan, which features a not-so-discreet flap over its rear-bumper outlet. It's difficult to speculate on power outputs for this fuel-sipping C-Class, although our spies seem to think that this car will feature some combination of a four-cylinder gas engine with an electric motor, although just which four is unclear (note, we wouldn't mind if MB fit its 2.0-liter turbo with some batteries and motors). Regardless, the four-pot/electric motor seems like a pretty reasonable combo, although it probably means that Mercedes won't be challenging the six-cylinder-powered system of the BMW ActiveHybrid3 any time soon.
When the plug-in C-Class arrives later this year as a 2015 model, it will likely offer a full range of driving modes, including both gas or electric, only, as well as a more traditional hybrid mode.
