Up for sale is my V12 Mercedes. Have had this car for 7 years and I'm the second owner. The car for a 1995 is in wonderful condition. It has never been in an accident and has been garage kept its whole life. It has all the options and runs beautifully. I am in Largo, Florida and if you are in the area would encourage you to come and see it. It has always been well maintained and adult owned. One of the best 1995 V12's that you will ever find. The rear tires are 75% and the front tires are 80% they are all Yokohama tires. Cold A/C and nice warm heated seats. Carpet in nice shape. Everything works as it should.

The car has a low reserve but does need a few things to be 100%. The shocks light just came on and this is going to run about $1000 each as they are the top of the line self leveling type; the mechanic said that the rear shocks and the left front shocks are good. So only the right front shock is bad but the mechanic said they only sell them in pairs and that I should replace the front pair of shocks. The car has the original Mercedes paint and does have some minor scratches here and there -- nothing significant but if you look you will find them. The only one that I really noticed is in the back trunk area that is pictured. There are 2 very small dings under a dime in size and one small crease that you won't see unless you go looking for it. The passenger front fender has a very small pulled out area on the very bottom of the fender but never broke the paint that happened somehow at the mechanic's shop. Will try to have pictures of everything and I'm being picky here because I want you to be very happy with your purchase with no suprises. Have looked over every inch of the car and there is no rust underneath the car at all and no rust in the exterior of the car with the original paint still in great shape. There are two small rust spots on the bottom ends of the middle of both doors that should be taken care of -- there is no rust through but the paint is just starting to bubble in these areas -- where the water drains out. That should be it for being real picky on anything wrong with it. But again for a 1995 it is in overall wonderful condition. Come and see it if you can. Thanks for looking.

Porsche teams with Delta airlines to woo VIP passengers

Sun, 15 Sep 2013

The next time you're waiting for a flight at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, see if you can spot a Porsche Cayenne or Panamera zipping between aircraft on the busy tarmac. The high-performance German vehicles aren't there practicing for an upcoming autocross; they are tasked with whisking some of the airline's most important customers between flights so they can keep their busy schedules intact.
Launched nearly two years ago, the program has proven popular with the automaker, airline and passengers as all benefit from the unique arrangement. Atlanta-based Porsche is able to showcase its cars to Delta's frequent-flying Medallion members, the airline is recognized for providing unusual perks to its high-value customers and those fortunate enough to be surprised with a quick lift are able to make connections without a stressful run through the terminal. Based on its success, the airline is rolling our similar programs in New York, Los Angeles and Minneapolis this month.
And don't think Porsche is the only automaker working with an airline to entice its frequent flyers. Mercedes-Benz ran a program over the summer that offered purchasing and leasing incentives to MileagePlus Premier members of United Airlines, and the two are currently shuttling top fliers around Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport in the automaker's S-Class and GL-Class models.

Russia gives its Olympic medalists new Mercedes

Thu, 27 Feb 2014

Russian medalists at the recently concluded Sochi Winter Olympics are being rewarded quite handsomely for their service to the Motherland. In addition to the $120,000 being handed out for each gold medal, the $76,000 being awarded for slivers and $52,000 given to bronze winners, now word has come out that each of Russia's medalists will be gifted a new Mercedes-Benz.
As with the prize amounts, the type of Mercedes offered was based on what sort of medal was won. Gold medalists got a new GL-Class, silver medalists were given an ML and bronze medalists were treated to a GLK. As prices for Mercedes are higher in Russia, the cheapest model, the GLK, was the equivalent of $59,500, according to The Moscow Times. The cars were handed out by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, pictured above with figure skating medalist Julia Lipnitskaia.
"I was a bit shocked at the car I was given," Anton Shipulin, a member of the gold-medal biathlon relay team, told RIA-Novosti. "Of course I knew what kind of model it would be, but I didn't totally believe it." For athletes not old enough to drive, like 15-year-old Lipnitskaia, their Mercedes will come complete with a driver.

Mercedes widens luxury sales gap on strong early CLA demand

Wed, 02 Oct 2013

Mercedes-Benz CLA sales have been booming, with the Stuttgart-based manufacturer moving 2,300 of the sleek four-doors in its first week on sale. That is astonishing. Mercedes moved nearly twice as many CLAs (which start at $29,900) in one week than Jaguar, a brand that is on a very solid roll, sold in all of September. Ignoring the price differences between the Jag line and the CLA, that is still wildly impressive.
Mercedes has been pushing the CLA in television ads, using a shortened version of its Super Bowl spot, which starred William Dafoe, Usher and Kate Upton. "As the bargain entrance into the Mercedes portfolio, we weren't sure how luxury buyers would react," Kelly Blue Book auto analyst Alec Gutierrez told Bloomberg.
The CLA push was just part of MB's 6.7-percent increase in September sales, which were also helped along by a 17-percent jump in E-Class sales. That surge has allowed Mercedes to widen its 2013 sales lead over its rival, BMW, to 2,491 cars, according to Bloomberg. If CLA sales continue at this rate, we can only expect that margin to grow.
