This van was purchased for my personal use. I outfitted it with many items from RB Components. Van is full
insulated, aluminum ceiling kit, subwall insulated and carpeted. The following are items the van has been
outfitted with
custom leather seats, espar heater, dometic roof a/c, 110v power system(multiple outlets, 1750 watt sine wave
inverter, two AGM deep cycle 950cca batteries, shore power plug under drivers side of van, aux 12 volt outlets usb
and cig outlet), 7" Alpine deck(back up camera, dvd/cd/Bluetooth/aux usb/Pandora ready/Sirius radio ready), all
speakers in dash and doors changed to MB Quart. 15" Rockford sub, excellent built in navigation system. The roof
air unit is run off of a generator or shore power(cord included and adapter for most camping hook up). Grill guard
up front with an LED light bar. Rear step bumper with receiver hitch. Multiple storage cabinets, tv, fridge,
microwave, spare wheel holders in rear. Front has a sofa/couch sleeper that flips up against the wall or out into
a bed or couch. Under the couch/bed is the storage box for the 110 volt system and amps, also plenty of storage
for other items. Above the driver/pass seat is an overhead storage shelf. In the rear of the van are more storage
cabinets for parts and aerosols/oils, the spare wheel holders are wall mounted, a flip down bed/bench seat, all LED
lighting inside, LED spot lights mounted on top, inside of rear doors. Fiamma manual awning installed on the
passenger side. White in color. In the rear doors are gear bags from RB, very handy for putting dirty gear in.
The front and rear floors of van are covered with TPO rubber flooring which is resistant to nearly all fluids.
Under the rubber floor is the factory wood floor which includes factory installed L-track. The walls also include
two rows of l-track. In the subwall there is a 6" 12 volt fan to help heat/cool the rear of van. New Hankook
dynapro a/t tires put on at 22,000 miles(13,000 ago).
Delivery is available, I am located in SE South Dakota. I travel to all of the National Enduro, OMA Nationals, and
select District 22&23 races.

Next Mercedes-Benz GLK to get AMG variant? Not likely...
Fri, 15 Mar 2013If you think Mercedes-Benz will slap an AMG badge on anything with wheels, think again. Word has it the German manufacturer will not offer buyers a performance version of the GLK, with Tobias Moers, director of AMG vehicle development, saying that he doesn't see a market for the car. That's not to say the picture won't change in the near future, however. According to CarAdvice.com, AMG is keeping a close eye on the arrival of the Porsche Macan.
"Maybe there will be a change in the market when the Porsche [Macan] comes up," Moers said, "but right now, no."
The real hitch in the giddy-up seems to be cost. Moers says developing the machine into something worthy of an AMG would represent "a huge investment." We can't exactly argue with that. Fortunately, AMG buyers have plenty of Mercedes-Benz models to choose from.
Highlights from the Goodwood Festival of Speed, including the McLaren P1 and a Ford Transit running the hill
Mon, 15 Jul 2013The sole purpose of this post is as a time-waster, and since you shouldn't have to work to waste time, we've done it for you. In the numerous videos below you'll find cars that have lately been in the news tramping all over the grounds of Lord March's estate in Goodwood, England.
There's the McLaren P1 heading up the hill, the Jaguar Project 7, then a casually-driven Porsche 917 followed by an even-more-casually-driven Porsche 956, topped off by a Porsche 936 that is anything but casually driven. The next round is the flame-spitting Peugeot 405 T16 Pikes Peak from Climb Dance, a camera mounted on the Peugeot RCZ R after it showing you what the whole, uninterrupted run up the hill looks like. For a real head-turner, we couldn't embed it but there's Andy Reid blasting up the hill in a Ford Transit Supervan with a Cosworth 3000 V6 engine.
The modern racing contingent has Allan McNish doing the hill in the Audi R18 e-tron quattro he used to win Le Mans and Lewis Hamilton making lots of tire smoke in the Mercedes-AMG Petronas MGP-W02. For comparison, that's followed by Nick Heidfeld's record-setting run up the hill in 1999 in the McLaren MP4/14 . The classic racing contingent is headlined by 71-year-old Giacomo Agostini on an MV Agusta.
Maybach officially discontinues all models for 2013
Tue, 14 Aug 2012The word "Maybach" has joined the long list of synonyms for the word "kaput." Mercedes-Benz released the price list for the 2013 models of its super-luxury sedans, with the price column simply stating "Discontinued" for each one of them.
The 2012 models, should there be any left for 11th-hour buyers, maintain the increased MSRPs that Daimler slapped on them late last year after it was known the brand would be terminated next year. But you might still be able to wrangle that $100,000 rebate if you ask nicely, or in Russian, or have Rick Ross ask for you.
It shouldn't be too long before we see the ultimate version of the next generation S-Class, the S600 Pullman, that will replace Maybach. Intriguingly, it's said the Pullman will be offered with every S-Class engine, even the four-cylinder diesel.
