You are bidding on a nice 1965 comet cyclone. It has been in storage for the last 10 years or so. My brother and I purchased it with plans of restoring it but have not been able to do so, therefore we have decided to sell it so someone can get the enjoyment out of it. This is a very good example of a restore while you can use it as well. The passenger front floor has been replaced. Other than that the car is very solid the frame rails are good as well as you can see in the pics. Also you can see the car was undercoated very well at a much earlier date which has very much done its job. The car has a 289 v8 not sure if it is a #s matching and the trans has been replaced with a c4 transmission the motor has shorty headers and was never adapted to reach the exhaust.The engine does run but probably needs a few things buttoned up on it such as the radiator is out of the car but we do have one that will be included in the sale. the paint on the car is really nice and would look even better with a good cleaning and a wax job. As you can see in the pics the hood and deck lid was louvered with was done prior to us purchasing it but it is a nice job. The original front seats have been replaced at some point with what you see. the tires and rims you see in the pics have been replaced with newer white wall tires on steel rims but we do still have the rims shown if buyer is interested. This comet cyclone came with the four barrel option but is not a hipo car. The original vin is still stamped in the engine compartment and all of the original engine panels in place. Overall we purchased this car because it is such a good candidate for a great finished product, just dont have the time. We have this car priced  right for a quick sale, dont miss out. A non refundable deposit of $500.00 will be due within 48 hours of auctions end via paypal and the balance  must be p[aid in cash or certified check within 10 days of auctions end. the car and title will be released after check has cleared.
