1967 Mercury Cougar
This is a 67 Cougar, located in Springtown TX. It does not have an engine or transmission. The car originally had a 289 4 barrel, and an automatic transmission. As you can see, it is in relatively good condition and is a good candidate for a restoration. I'm willing to sell it without motor and transmission, but if interested I do have a 1967, 289 4 barrel motor and 4spd auto trans that can go with it if desired. I'm asking 2,500.00 without the motor and transmission, and 3,850.00 with motor and trans. Other than the motor and transmission it is a complete car. If you are interested in making an offer or want to buy the car, please call. I like to talk to a buyer before I sell. Please, absolutely no texting. I don't text, and they will just be ignored. My details are as follows, Paul, (817) 269-6071. Thanks.

Ford announces bevy of recalls, 2 of which are recalls on recalls
Tue, 04 Nov 2014
Ford has announced five separate recalls, affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.
It's not been a great couple of weeks for Ford. On October 30, the company announced a 205,000-unit recall, and yesterday, it was revealed that the Ford brand's year-over-year sales were down over 5,000 units while the company itself was down 3,000 units over through October. Now, the company has announced five separate recalls affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.
NHTSA probing 2000-2003 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable models over throttle issue
Mon, 29 Oct 2012A potential issue with the speed control cable collar has got the 2003-20003 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable under the spotlight of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. If the collar breaks it can cause the throttle to be stuck open.
The issue is limited to vehicles with the 3.0-liter V6 Duratec. There are just 50 complaints so far out of 310,000 cars, but the NHTSA has begun an investigation into whether a recall should be issued.
Curtain officially comes down on Mercury as dealers remove signage
Mon, 03 Jan 2011The process of shutting down the Mercury is complete. Ford officially made the decision to close its mid-level brand in June of 2010. In the months that followed, Ford offered its dealers money to stop selling the cars, with production shutting down in September. The last Mercury, a Mariner, rolled off the assembly line in the beginning of October and former spokesperson Jill Wagner said her good-byes to both the car and her job. Now the last piece of the brand has come down as dealers are removing any and all Mercury signage from their lots.
