I am selling my 1969 Mercury Cougar. It is the base model 2 door coupe. I am the second owner of the vehicle and I hate to see it go but I need the money so it has to go. I was told it was purchased in 1969 in Allentown, Pa. So this car has not went far at all. It has a 351 Windsor in it and has an automatic transmission, It ran when I put it in the garage like a month ago, I didn't try starting it today but I am almost a hundred percent sure that it will start as soon I turn the key. The carburetor needs to be cleaned out probably because it stales when in drive and you push the gas pedal. The car does need tlc, it needs a paint job, needs body work (it was bondoed in different spots but I think that could be done better), the frame looks good, but there are two holes at the front drivers side of frame that just need weld patches and at the front of passenger side. Trunk pan is in good shape and passenger floor too. Drivers floor could need a patch or two. Has a brand new headliner in it, and the majority of the interior is really nice as seen in the pictures. Drivers window needs to be aligned. Some chrome is nice and some other pieces are pitted. I also have the chrome that goes around the back window and that goes on the quarter panels. I made sure I listed everything wrong because I don't want to hide anything but this car could really shine up nice with a little bit of time and money. Ford announces bevy of recalls, 2 of which are recalls on recalls

Ford has announced five separate recalls, affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.
It's not been a great couple of weeks for Ford. On October 30, the company announced a 205,000-unit recall, and yesterday, it was revealed that the Ford brand's year-over-year sales were down over 5,000 units while the company itself was down 3,000 units over through October. Now, the company has announced five separate recalls affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.

Near as we can tell, it's the same 2002 Mercury Marauder that was modified into a two-door convertible by Ford for the 2002 Chicago Auto Show. According to the seller, this car still boasts its Eaton supercharger bolted to a 4.6-liter V8 engine, and at the time of its debut, the engine was rated at a lofty 335 horsepower. We have a hard time believing that the extra ponies would do much to offset the weight of the additional frame stiffeners and top mechanism on the car, however.
The vehicle is currently offered for sale by a dealer in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, though the listing is mum on how the convertible managed to make its way from Ford's Windy City show stand into the seller's inventory.
